I disagree with many liberals, but not that much! He might deserve the death penalty, but for other reasons, I would think.
I am as conservative as the next guy, but I am not sure this guy did ANYTHING wrong. He joined a fight for a cause he believed in and then due to circumstances ended up being on the wrong side of a war. The only thing I think he would be guilty of is joining Al-Queda, and if he did that, then all bets are off, but I have not seen any proof yet. DD
If I recall, but I'm not going to hunt the quote, right after 9/11. Ann Coulter said something to the effect that we needed to invade all Muslims countries and forcifully convert them to Christianity. She's conservative, but I think (or hope) these statements are for shock value only.
