    That was 24 years ago. I was apporoximately -1 month old.

    I like what it said about the Rockets over looking Jordan but then stupid Portland over looked Jordan as well with the 2nd pick taking Sam Bowie !! Damn they even over looked Barkley and Stockton !!!! You just never know but I'm still glad the Rockets chose the Dream and I got to watch him play all the time on my parents 50 ft sattelite dish :D

    recorded some of the 84 draft that was on NBA tv this past week.

    best part?

    when the interviewer asked hakeem how it would be like being able to take some 14-15 jumpers and playing out in the high post a bit more and asked where he would fit in with the rockets.

    Hakeem:
    "I want to play in the paint"

    no hesitation...man that guy was something else

    I don't understand why people are dissing Dream on draft day.

    He wore a TUX! as far as I know, that's how tuxes look like today.
