dude you're clueless. hinrich's D is pretty highly regarded, esp. on the pick and roll. gotta check those facts mang
Alston, Jackson, Brooks, Francis McGrady, Head Battier, (Greene*), (Harris***), (Novak****) Scola, (Landry**), (Dorsey*) Yao, Hayes, (Deke**), (Woods***) * Unsigned draft pick ** Free agent *** Non-guaranteed **** Team Option Does Hinrich become more of an option now the draft is over? Especially since Hinrich can play both 1 & 2. Alston+Jackson+Head for Kirk Hinrich + JamesOn Curry (non-guaranteed)? Hinrich, Brooks, Francis McGrady, (Hinrich), (Francis) Battier, Greene, Harris, Novak Scola, Landry, Dorsey Yao, Hayes, Deke, Woods
I too would love Captain Kirk. The thing you have to keep in mind about his shooting percentages is that he was playing for a Bulls team that had absolutely zero inside scoring. He was forced to take bad shots because, all their offense came from jump shots and three pointers.
No way Chicago gives up a better point guard for Alston and trash alone. If there's any way this trade could happen we'd have to part with Landry/Brooks/future draft picks.
Not sure who you're talking about, but it ain't Kirk Hinrich. Hinrich's an excellent defender at the 1.
Hinrich is a solid player and PG. I coveted him from early on, but now he is too expensive for our tastes and needs. Also, we have virtually nothing to trade that would interest Chicago (other than Yao, T-Mc and El Skol!
