God yes...instant classic that song. Never thought I'd say that again about a hip hop song...but that's what hip hop is supposed to be.

Fresh Adidas squeak across the bathroom floor

Classic indeed, although I don't believe it's on 'Power.'

I don't think Ice-T should have singled anyone out in particular. Honestly, pretty much anything being played on the radio right now is complete garbage. It falls under the same wack rap category as Souljah Boy's song. I don't think this will really hurt Souljah Boy at all. If anything its going to make all his dumbass fans (who don't know the difference between good music and a bag of horse ****) rally behind him.

SB didn't kill hip hop, these "fans" killed it by buying it and giving it all the attention that it has gotten. Kanye West will never be respected again after comparing SB to possibly the greatest rapper alive.

QFT! Ice shoulda called out the hip hop radio stations for the BS they play, plus the city of Atlanta shoulda been called out for the trash they create eg SouljaBoy among others.

two people, independently irrelevant, rambling on about why the other is more irrelevant, simply to hear themselves speak.

everyone talkin bout hip hop this and hip hop that and how this new age of rappers are killing hop hop are all full of nonsense...

anybody on this board would take souljah boys spot any day of the week... its all about money man f*** it if you wanna make a quick million no1 on this board or in hip hop would say no... nobody.

hip hop isn't what it used to be and never will be but just live with it and let these guys make their money cuz in the end thats what its all about .... no1 actually cares about their legacy and crap like that... they get into this business to 1. get out of the hood 2. get rich as quick as possible 3. provide for their families and 4. experience life outside of the hood

how can we knock em for it when we as consumers are the ones buying their products... i bet most of the ppl on this board who talk ***** about these new aged rappers and how they prefer listening to common and lupe and real hip hop **** probably don't even go support or buy their albums and you guys wonder why hip hop is where its at right now.

o yea btw i hate souljah boy too, but you guys have to rmr its all about the MONEY... ok im done

didnt know anything about Soulja Boy - other than he had something to do with Deshawn Stevensen during the playoffs hosting a party or some garbage.

    so just wiki'd him.

wiki says dude is still a month shy of his 18th birthday....

I have so many questions in light of this.

I've felt how Ice T does about hip hop for a long time.

The 4 elements of hip hop are graffiti artists, b-boys, MCs, and DJs. I don't see disco in there...

    Kanye...

Make the beats but pass the mic. Your lyrics are sorry. But at least we all know why now. His thought process is jacked up. How could you even compare Soulja Boy to Nas?

Illmatic vs. whatever soulja boy's album is called?
