Just thought I'd bump it since it's approaching. About the gas receipt.... Can it be from any gas purchase receipt, or does it have to be the gas receipt that you bought on the 26th?
if it were the 26th that would be stupid. it would only benefit those who happen to refill that day. if not, hey want $50 tacos?
This is an odd promotion. I'd expect there to be a specific partner in this giveaway, right? Kind of unprecedented in my memory. I haven't been to JitB in forever. In late high school I loved their pioneering the 99 cent value menu. I guess I just got sick of it. My years long curlee fry abstinence has me with second thoughts lately.
The two tacos probably cost jib 20 cents to make. I'm sure people will end up getting more than just the two tacos and buy drinks/fries so it'll be a pretty good promotion on their part.

Can't you already get two of these tacos for like a buck? It's a cool promotion, but sheesh. I'd be better off grabbing a dollar from my change tray. I'll bet the drive-thru is going to be PACKED all day/night long. Kind of funny that so many people with be busting their asses trying to get to JITB just to save a dollar.
That's what I was about to say. I have never in my entire life eaten a taco from Jack in the Box. I only do Taco Bell.
I was thinking the same thing. The two tacos are only .99! Now if they were talking about 2 Monster Tacos....
With driving a little bit out of the way to get to JITB and waiting in the drive thru, you'd probably spend a least a buck in gas getting your 2 tacos. I'm sure there are going to be some lazy student summer vacationers that will come up with 30 gas receipts and spend all day driving to 30 Houston Area JITB locations for tacos.
