After I save up $400, I'm not going to be sure on which 2 games I should buy. All sugestions are welcomed, except they have to be single player games(unlike most sports games)
Metal Gear Solid 2 is awesome. I don't own it, but my friend does, and it's awesome. I'm going to buy it. It's like sort've watching a movie. I actually enjoyed watching him play it for an hour.
Gran Turismo 3 is amazing. I know when I got my PS2, they had the "GT3 Pack". $325 you got the PS2 and the game. Great deal.
Might want to hold on to getting GT3 for a lil while. I heard it's price might be reduced to $30 soon. (like greatest hits for PS1) if you like rpgs, FFX is good, if not, then Grand Theft Auto 3, and MGS2 are your best bets. Rent before you buy tho.
if you like Football get Madden 2002, great game, DON'T get NBA Live 2002, try NBA 2k2. When is Star Wars Racer Revenge coming out?
get NCAA football it basicly madden but the recruting is far superior to the nfl draft and free agency. that is unless you export a draft class from ncaa to madden which is a nice feature but not worth buying both games for. I didnt like live or 2k2. although 2k2 is the better game. Metal gear is a great game
Hey Azadre, I just thought of something- you probably won't be allowed to purchase Grand Theft Auto 3. Maybe your "g-ma" will get it for you... Now that I think about it, how about picking up something along the lines of, say, Tekken Tag (a new one's around the corner). Then maybe you'll only end up with sore thumbs and won't be having to ask the other BBSers on how to fix your face... x34
Metal Gear is one of the best games ever on any system. Gran Turismo is awesome as well, but it might get boring after a while if you dont know much about cars. NBA Street is the best basketball game ever made. Ace Combat II is one of my favourites as well.
I played NBA Streets on Gamecube on Friday. It's just like the PS2 version but with player updates (1/4/2002). No Griffin , but it does have Kwame and Curry.
I think its because Griffin waited longer to sign with us. He was not on an official NBA team roster I believe by the time NBA Street needed the list. How is it playing on GC? The buttons would be sort of wierd I imagine?
Yeah, that's one of the things I noticed. I got the hang of it quick though, but didn't have time to read the booklet for dunks/moves. The "Servin it Up" dunk was always my favorite on PS2 - on GC its L,R,Z, and B (B being the shoot button if I remember correctly). X and Y just do moves, L and R are turbo, and A is the pass button. There are probably more functions but again I played for 10 mins then left.
