Well since the NBA is rigged (rid?)... Hmm...set Yao and T-Mac for failure for many years criticize them to no end... then make them magically win a championship in 08-09 when no one expects them to because they get no respect... now that is an imagination... Anyhow... I believe that the Rockets team from this past season (if healthy) was in the top five teams in the league once they started clicking in Jan. But that piece of information is useless as the problem is that every offseason teams try to get better. So now we will need one or two players that we bring us over that hump to match up. My call is the next two seasons or then we are screwed (at least) for another five years...
It will happen when we get a 3rd scorer who gives us 16-18 pts consistently and go off every 4th or 5th game for 30 plus. While Yao and/or Tmac sit out with an injury. We need to give up something to get this person.
