Wow Jeff, thanks for taking a huge crap on this thread and all of us who thought we had taken nice pictures.
It kinda depends on the circumstances of the wedding (time, location, etc), but we charge $2500 for up to 8 hours plus a 1-hour shoot either before or after (engagement, bridal, etc) the wedding. That includes at least 125 digital processed images on DVD. We don't do any of the printing since there are a bajillion places that do it so inexpensively. You can look at my photography partner's stuff here: http://www.slightclutter.com She's freaking amazing. My photo site will be up soon.

^ I got two words for you, my friend: SPELL CHECK. Do you all retouch your photos with "PhotoShop" or any other software? I don't like doing that. I don't know why... maybe I want to keep them ORIGINAL. I mostly do the "Auto" setting on my FinePix S5100, so it is not customary for me to change the aperture, ISO, etc. I still get decent shots, I think. Yeah, I stopped reading THERE. Just kiddin'... your work is very elegant. LegendZ3, I think this one is cool: Spoiler And this one: Spoiler Gotcha.
We almost could get everybody with a different jersey beginning of the year, I think we were only missing (before the trade) Mike James/Snyder. We just needed yoyo's Novak or Mutumbo jersey if he was here, and we would've gotten pretty much the whole team. close as in how? you in town RAID? u know if your here next week, you gots to hang with us for the Draft party
I definitely process in Photoshop. Look, lots of great photographers used darkrooms to process 35mm and medium format prints for many, many years. Particularly when you are shooting very fast - like weddings - you don't always have time to set up everything perfectly. Mostly, I shoot in RAW format and use Adobe Bridge to do the majority of the processing - just adjusting lighting and color. Occasionally, I'll do more radical stuff, but mostly it's just the small stuff and it can make a huge difference. Even tiny changes can turn a good photo into a great one.
Here are some of my recent ones, still learning: http://www.flickr.com/photos/zongbiao Photography is fun!
ah dammit, its cool, guess its my turn to visit yall next season, I plan on going and crashing at Yoyo's place, pending on the schedule, should be kickass
Not mine, but this guy is one of my favorites. His kid portraits are great. http://www.flickr.com/photos/jwlphotography/ Jeff, Check out this wedding photographers "school" site. http://www.thebschool.com/
