http://espn.go.com/nba/news/1999/0804/39601.html February 22, 1:48 PM ET Rockets' Francis scheduled to visit Mayo Clinic -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ESPN.com news services Houston Rockets All-Star guard Steve Francis is scheduled to go to the Mayo Clinic in Minnesota on Thursday to try and determine the cause of the frequent migraine headaches that have plagued him over the last month. Francis has missed five games this season because of the problem and has played in other games with the headaches. "It would be nice to double-check everything," team physician Dr. Walter Lowe said. The Rockets have tested Francis but have not pinpointed the reason for the headaches. "They can do every test there known to man and give us some answers," Lowe said. "We need to find if there's anything different to do to stop triggering these headaches." The Rockets hope Francis will be able to complete testing on Monday and return for Tuesday night's home game against the Los Angeles Clippers.
You guys think if Western medicine doesn't help much, would they be open to chinese herbs? I studying some chinese herbal remedies right now.. wonder if Stevie would be open to that option.
A lot of these guys do that as well. Barkley had an accupuncturist practically on call for his back. These guys will do anything if they think it will help.
I'll search around for what the chinese use for migraines. But someone has to send the message to the rocks and see if they are interested in help from a fan...
