you have way too much time on your hands.

And i stand by my comment.

if Billups had been fully healthy from the start - Detroit would
be the NBA champs right now.

However much the Celtics sucked against those teams they certainly earned it slogging through all the 7 game series

If Ginobili had been fully healthy from the start, we would have a Spurs and Celtics finals.
If Yao had been fully healthy, rockets would be the NBA Champs right now.
    If blah blah blah.....

What is the purpose of your post anyway?

lol @ this..... billups was fine. he was healthy enough to play well he just didn't for half of the games... boston was easily the better team, easily the best team in league IMO. no one was going to beat them in a series as long as they kept their eyes on the prize.

i said about mid-season boston would beat LA in the finals in 5 games, which would have happened if not for the 2-3-2 format. i just don't see how anyone was picking against the celtics in a series. this has been theirs to lose damn near all year long.

Awesome thread! I would have done this but was too lazy to go through old threads. My favorite is how everyone sounded so sure that the Celtics didn't have a chance. I clearly remember plenty of Clutchfans saying the Lakers would slaughter the Celtics. Well, a slaughtering happened but It was the other way around.

I think Doc Rivers is a great motivator.. but as a strategist coach, Im not too high on him.. he has 3 great players and a few uprising players like Powe and Rondo along with proven veterans like Brown, Cassell and Posey coming off the bench.

anyways congrats to the Celtics, I was rooting for a 5 game series but 6 isnt bad

Awesome thread. I am happy to see that the Celtics proved me wrong. Ray Allen, Paul Pierce, James Posey and Eddie House stepped up BIG TIME in this series. KG is solid too (but he still choked :p) Congrats to Celtics. Props to Doc Rivers and Tom Thibodeau! It's an amazing series for basketball fans.
