The finals show us that we're on the right track. We're a defensive oriented team with 2 all-stars who are injury away from going far in the playoffs. With a consistent bench, couple of role players and a 3rd option, we can contend with the best of the best.

I've learned that the current Rockets roster, if completely healthy, might barely make it out of the 1st round and that's it.

It tells you that defense wins championships. You can have the "best player in the world" but if the other team plays better defense, its going to be tough to win.

Chemistry is overrated. Good players don't need a lot of time to develop it. The celts traded 8 players for 2 and LA mid a move at midseason.

Battier is overrated. Posey is underrated.

That you draft Rudy Gay, and then bundle him with a bunch of crap for a disgrunted super star, and watch the Sam Cassells and James Poseys come to your team instead of trading your lottery pick for a role player.

The finals told me even a team in the finals can similarly get blown out in their last game by more than 40

The Rockets are RIGHT there with the Celtics when healthy.......it is all about Matchups, and Yao would OWN them.

It tells me that if Houston had traded T-mac to the Celtics for Szcerbiak, Delonte West, and a draft pick, he would have won a championship. :)

Get Ron Artest or a third star. Trade Battier and Scola/ Landry and Brooks. Whatever. We need the third star. The role players will come to us.

I've got a feeling everyone will be trying to do something like this.

the reason why lakers lost = SF position. It shows you need a good wing defender and Radmonovich was FAIL. If we trade Battier, we better get another defender back. Sasha and Radmon couldn't cut it with their defense.

I'm down for Artest at this point. Need attitute, aggressiveness, and a little bit of dirty play.
