Heart...unbelievable heart! I've never seen anything like this. It's not a coincidence either, Turkey seems to relish the 'underdog' role. They came back from an 0-1 deficit to win the last game, too. I can't blame them either, it's like they have home court advantage for pretty much every single game. Their crowd just dominates every game they're in.

Good stuff, best game of the tournament so far. This is why I love this game...

it was funny how the Ref was handing out Yellow's to nearly everybody at the end.....even the players on the bench! :D

Unbelievable match. I bought Czech to make it out group, so I am pretty mad at
them right now. How could that world class back line allow this to happen. Unreal. They were up by 2-0 with 15 minutes to go. After hitting the post, it was all downhill for the Czechs. Too much space was allowed and the Turks were desperate. You figure if one of the best defensive teams of the Tourney only needed not to lost two goals with 15 minutes to go, the game should have been over. Urrrr!

Hats off the Turkish side. What a comeback. It reminds me of Liverpool came back 3 goal down to beat AC.Milan in the Champions League final 3 years ago. Nihat and Tucay were instrumental. I think they can beat Croatia.

UNBELIEVABLE! That was one of the greatest soccer comebacks I've seen in a long time. I was rooting for the Turks all the way.

I bet some Turkish fans must have had heart attack tonight. On the other side, it's tough to be a Czech fan tonight.

This is the beauty of international soccer. Too bad, this country still watch baseball. I have been following international soccer since 82 Spain world cup. The joy it has brought me over the years can only be rivaled probably by NBA.

I would say these battles top this one today:'86, '98 Argentina vs England. '96 England vs Germany, '90 Brazil vs Argentina, '86 France vs Brazil, 2004 Czech vs Holland, the 2004 Greece matches, the 92 Denmark matches ...

    In World Cup qualifying:

    3-0 USA-Barbados 30 min

    0-0 Mexico-Belize Half

How great would it be if Mexico got knocked out in the first round of qualifying?

The Turks are going crazy in Vienna right now. I just checked in to my hotel at the same time with former German soccer legend Lothar Matthaeus... Kid Rock is running around here as well...

What a game. I'm not that happy with the result, I wanted Czech to win. But the cities in Holland exploded after the game. We have many Turkish people in Holland, and they all went crazy in the streets.

Unbelievable that such a good goalie made such a big mistake (I also think the first goal was also stoppable).

It had to be cus of the rain, slippery ball. What a game tho. 3 goals in 15 mins. I wonder which hurts more for Cech, losing in the Champs league finals or this.

The ref in that game went a little too card happy in the end. I wonder why this is. It's happened in several games in this Eurocup, the ref just start handing out cards when he loses control of the game or when the intensity increases a bit.

I don't particularly like Volcan as I think he's a s****y keeper, but I hate Koller more. I'm glad the Czech lost cus I really really hate Koller's style. He seems like such a damn prick. I remember him running up to Ricardo and looking him down as if looking for a fight during the end stages of the Portugal game. He pretty much did the same here, but Volcan took the bait. Well, how does it feel being a loser, Koller? Cus from here it looks delicious!

I wonder how we will do tonight - Holland don't exactly perform well when it doesn't count. It will be difficult. Also the team has undergone 9 changes, with only van der Sar and Engelaar staying on. I suspect Engelaar is being tested as he struggled against France so van Basten wants to see if he can keep the level. Otherwise I am thinking of maybe using Heitinga in his place. Can't wait for saturday!

Germany did not look good at all, they will need to pick up form - but then these are the Germans so they probably will do so!

holland have nothing to play for.. they should just let romania win and knock out BOTH france and italy. no reason to let those powerhouses in to the final 8 since they could end up meeting them again.

There are pictures out there, and they're spectacular. The only ones that are remotely close to being work safe are of a bunch of guys in the crowd, which nobody really wants to see.

OK a good 2-0 victory with our second unit.

As expected the italians also qualified, they will probably beat us in the semi finals (with penalties).

    haha.
In a soccer tourney, the final winner usually displays how ugly play to win a game and Italy epitomize that.

I think Sweden will be tough for the Dutch to handle.
