    Between the following:

    Samsung LN52A650

    Samsung PN50A650

    Sony 46XBR5

Anybody care to tell me the difference between LCD and Plasma again? How come LCD's are more expensive?

Don't plasma give a better picture?

what are you gonna use the tv for mainly? movies? sports? video games?

    if video games then lcd,
else plasma is the better deal at the larger sizes

also Panasonic/Pioneer are known to be the best for plasma.
however i know some happy Samsung plasma owners.

    are you in houston?

I've got a Samsung LN-T4061F and am very happy with it. It's an LCD but handles sports about as good as any LCD.

    It's black levels are excellent.

I got it cause I have a HTPC and wanted LCD so it'll behave better hooked up to a PC. No regrets watching sports or anything else.
