Depends on who wins the series obviously: Paul Pierce or Kobe Bryant. Doesn't look like it is going to be KG which disappoints me. His big chance, and he is not playing large. I don't understand that one. Maybe PP will get him a ring.

Are some of you really trying to argue that a guy averaging 16 and 12 (KG) deserves to be named Finals MVP???????

I read this elsewhere and I agree....KG is a rich mans Ben Wallace.

Paul Peirce, Ray Allen have completley outplayed him this series.

KG might still win it because the media absolutely loves him.

It's pretty obvious it's PP or Kobe depending on who wins the series. Allen has a small chance if he has a phenomenal performance in the next 1 or 2 games. There's no way KG is even in this conversation. There's no doubt he makes a great Robin, not a great Batman, this playoffs.

He's never been a guy to put up huge offensive numbers or clutch shots.

    Pierce for sure. no question.

KG has not been playing clutch. Pierce has, and so has allen

After tonights game, I wouldn't be shocked if it is KG. He is gonna end up with something like 17 pts 13 rbs 3 asts.

What a joke. Kevin Garnett is about to get a ring. Kevin Garnett, after doing everything within his capability to get eliminated this series, is going to win a ring. Kevin Garnett, after having his ass saved by PJ Brown against Cleveland, is going to win a ring.

Kevin Garnett, possibly the most overrated big man in NBA history, now has only one less ring than Hakeem Olajuwon. Kevin freaking Garnett will most likely be ranked in the same tier of big men in history as Hakeem. Just like Tim Duncan is ranked ahead of Hakeem.

There probably isn't a single player in the league I would rather not see win a ring than this pompous asshat, if we aren't including Josh Howard.

Ray Allen is going off right now.
He's been the most consistent, so I'd give it to him.

I'd give the MVP to Lamar Odom for making KG's job so easy.

Pierce for Celtics career achievement and clutch play.

Garnett and Allen weren't there through the struggles. So all things even give it to the guy that's been there with the franchise.

I know that's not what finals mvp is supposed to be about, but I agree. Paul Pierce's longevity with the Celts gives him the edge in a close vote imho.

Pierce better win finals mvp, though Allen would be a good choice as well. KG didn't really play an awesome game until tonight.
