If you cut a player, I think I remember Haven saying you are stil responsible for thier salary. Is this true if someone else picks them up?

Mechanics are slightly different though (as I understand it) - instead of paying it out in salary through the year, haven will simply take the $2M immediately out of your cash reserves.
