Well, it is one of my favorite days of the year, as my boys give me stuff they made in school etc, and it is completely about us dads. Today we are off to the neighborhood pool and a Bar-B-Q under the shade of a big oak tree. Gonna swim swim swim, until we are wrinkly and pruny...... I love this day...... Happy father's day to the dads out there. Today I'm headed to the burbs to go to my niece's dance recital, and then dinner with my old man and the rest of the family. Should be a good day.

happy fathers day dads. All my father figures are passed away so i have the day to myself with my kids. I started my fathers day off last night doing one of my favorite things. A late night swim in the pool with my captain and coke, pink floyd animals on the stereo, am almost full moon and my wife. The pool temp was perfect as was the weather outside. So relaxing to float there in peace.
Happy Father's Day! I'm going to finally get to organizing my garage. It's been a freaking mes since we moved in last month and it kills me to see it that way. Then, Sunday night softball and post-game at The Posse East. It's a good day.
My daughter was born last November so this is my first Father's Day. Gotta say it's a pretty awesome feeling. My wife is working today, so I'm going to take my daughter to the zoo later on and have a fun day hanging. Happy Father's Day to the rest of you out there.
My oldest daughter came to stay for the weekend. We are having a big family dinner tonight with extended family and then we'll have one last dinner with her on Thursday night with some of her friends before she leaves on June 25th for a year in New Zealand on work visas with her boyfriend.
I emailed my Dad in Hong Kong the other day to wish him happy fathers Day, although I don't think they celebrate Fathers day in Hong Kong. Otherwise not being a dad myself today has been a day to work on my house and other chores.
Thanks, DD. Did I get a new gaming PC? A big HDTV for our bedroom? An electric scooter to chase everyone else riding a bicycle? (I can't sit on a bicycle seat... back surgery) No! A belt, 3 shirts, and a pair of shorts. Very nice stuff and I'm grateful, but come on! Give me the expensive frivolous gift anyway!!
Being a father is an indescribable privilege... It's pathetic that so many men don't treat it that way.
My daughter is only 1, but she got me an xps m1330 with 4 gigs of ram and a 320 gig hd. I'm sure ties and shirts are soon to follow, but the wife did me right on this one. I ordered it last week so technically I didn't have it et for father's day, but it will be here this week.
