Sorry I cant start a poll but, if Rafer ever becomes injured, who would you want to start?

    Bobby Jackson: Veteran.

Aaron Brooks: Young rookie and starting experience can work better for the future.

Depends on AB's development next season. I think Jackson has shown us that he is better suited to come off the bench as a scorer.

I really don't know how Steve is going to fit in here next season.

With what everyone saw last year, who would you rather have? SF or AB?

Why would ANYONE possibly choose SF over AB in this situation? Except for the SoF

    brooks.

it'd be interesting how brooks and francis play out for next season. francis wasn't 100% last year due to having injury and being fat... and aaron was just a rookie.

if aaron makes a big jump and francis is like his pre-orlando days... then imo we are set at the pg position. but man.. that is such a big if... *sigh* just having old francis back would be perfect.

Honestly, both Aaron and Bobby are backup PG's. SF can't be a starter either. We all know Rafer is a backup PG who is a borderline starter at his best.
AB0 would be my choice over SF and possibly Bobby too. Tracy McGrady remains our best passer and he needs to score as well. It's not a good position to be in to say the least.

That's easy anybody who can bring the ball across half-court because after that T-mac is going to play the point anyways..

It seems like the OP is daring someone to pick the less obvious choice, which makes a gimme response-fest into an interesting read. At least we can flesh out the pros and cons for the less obvious.

For all we know, the time off Steve has had has done some good to his body and mind. Maybe he's fresh (which to a 30 year old is increasingly more important) - and god forbid- older and wiser.

As a former and current Rocket who didn't really tread on Bonzi sized knuckleheadedness, I'd like to give him the benefit of the doubt for a couple very good reasons. A) if I'm right, being right feels good. B) it makes me look more fair minded than I actually am.

At the current situation: Steve Francis.

But if I was able to make moves this off-season: it'd be Andre Miller whether Rafer is injured or not. Andre Miller never gets injured. He is as solid as a rock injury-wise.

Which vomit inducing scenario is worse?

The idea of Rafer continuing to be our starter or the nightmarish idea of Brooks, B-Jax, Francis or even Luther Head starting instead?

You tell me. I can't decide which poison tastes better.

When Rafer goes down.. I pray we'd have another PG other than the few that we have now. uncle BJ looks like he should be getting social security checks in a couple of years, Brooks is a far cry from ready, Francis was done 5 years ago, and Span--jk.

I sure wish we could get Hinrich or Calderon. I'd even settle for Navarro at this point behind Rafer.

We need to get the other Chi-town guy.
I really like what Chris Duhon brings to the table, good defense, 3pt shooting and playmaking. He's probably not going to very expensive either so we can give him what ever is left from the MLE after we have signed Landry.
