Sign and trade with the Clippers might suit both parties. Arenas could get paid, be on a big stage and the Wizards could choose from decent assets.

Out of the big 3 in Washington... Arenas is the last one I'd want on this team. I'd love to have either Butler or Jamison. Especially Butler.

Whats the over/under on Arenas actually posting on this forum if he becomes a Rocket? I would give it a 70% chance.

What's the over/under on Arenas using the word *** on his blog if he becomes a Rocket? I say 99%.

Crap, I forgot that word is still unnameable. Let's say it's got three letters, and the first one is "Y" and the last one is "FAN".

this is a guy I would break the bank for. and I'm not a fan. he's only 26. tracy breaks down (hopefully yao doesn't) and you still have two superstars. tmac's deal is up in two years, this is not a bad replacement plan

Well the only knowns are that Arenas wants to get paid. The teams with Cap space are not willing to give him that much money so the only team that he will sign with is Washington.

Arenas wants close to 14-15 million per year. There are numerous trade partners

Bobby Jackson + Rafer Alston + Chuck Hayes+ Luther head +25th pick

    for

    Gilbert Arenas + Andray Blatche

No idea how Washington likes the trade but hey....only scenerio i see with us getting Arenas without losing Landry

    Good thing they aren't.

Like, I said earlier, most playoff (championship contending) teams don't Gilbert Arenas.

He could have changed his mind, but 6 or so weeks ago, Arenas said he was going to Opt out to give WAS a good chance to bring back Jamison who is unrestricted. All indications are that Arenas will take the salary hit to keep their Big 3 together. With Houston having little that WAS would covet, you can forget the SnT.

i'd rather get a caron butler. he's a perfect 3rd option b/c he knows his role, plays defense, rebounds, and has a swagger.

but wiz would not do that :( . i'd trade battier, pick, and luther for caron with no hesitation.

You guys don't see what Boston big three is doing. Yao is Garnett, T-Mac is Pierce, Agent 0 is Allen. We meet Boston in the finals we win. Leaving Agent 0 with looks Alston, Battier, etc ., get will be bad for the NBA. We desperately need a ego on this team. We have no player that acts like they have a set of balls. Stephen Jackson type attitude. Yao is humble. T-Mac is in the limelight, but really doesn't want to be the man. We're the perfect team for somebody to come in and get yours without our two stars complainning.
