ok seriously interested so let me get to the back of the line.... i will need a new living room sometime by the end of november. (although it might be a bit better to open up a credit line for a tv/stand closer to then)
No offense to OP, but this is only a poor/decent deal at best. Electronics devaluate incredibly quickly. The stand looks pretty nice, but the TV is not worth much. A 50'' 720P DLP shouldn't sell for much at all these days. For example, you get got a brand new LG 42'' LCD now for $900 or 920 + tax. If you look around for refurb, a 50" 1080p LCD won't be that hard to find for under 1k. 10% http://a.slickdeals.net/attachment.php?attachmentid=96587&d=1211395897 8% http://ww2.aaa.com/scripts/WebObjec...ub=65&zip=72201&stateprov=ar&city=little rock TV http://www.circuitcity.com/ssm/LG-4...594k1971&affiliateid=k1971&mid=sduidp0t827658
I'm sorry, but Samsung >>>>>>> LG. Might as well have him go after a Westinghouse while you're at it.
OMG and you found it necessary to post this why? Not that it takes away from what IM selling, like Mig said....Samsung >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> LG do you really think you know anything about HDTVs? sorry, you fail Listen guys, if you think its not a good deal, then fine, dont buy it. I did my due diligence researching how much this thing is worth, and I know the quality it is. Dont even criticize lessen you actually know what your talking about.
I have this exact same model and have been highly pleased with it ever since I got it. Purchased around Christmas 2005 for close to $2,000 and have had no trouble whatsoever with it. Sounds like a great deal to me, whoever gets it will be getting a great TV
Well... A 50in 1080p DLP Samsung brand spanking new is 1200. So I don't really see how far off he was being. But ya, no real need to post it that. But whoever buys it is going to do their homework anyways.
sorry rockets2k but i am going to back off the line. no matter how good of a deal it is, i cant afford to pay for this and have it sit in storage for however long. if this was a few months down the road, i would probably be all over it but you do not have that long. if i offended you or did something wrong, it was not my intentions but i emailed you through the board to avoid being inconsiderate the above poster. i apologize... redefined is getting great tv obviously.
naw man, we are cool You had reservations and you had the class to do it privately. To those questioning the pricing, keep in mind that all Im actually asking for the TV itself is 750, the stand is easily worth the additional 150 added on to the total price. I am putting them up as a package because of the sheer size of the tv itself, and the fact that while IM sure someone would jump all over a $750 HDTV, unless someone wanted the stand seperately, I would have to deal with storing the stand till I could sell it....which I just dont have room to do. maybe if I have alot of trouble finding a buyer for the package, Ill seperate them....but I would really rather not.
redefined, would you email me thru the board? need to know what your status is, I have someone at another board I am at asking if it was still available. If you arent gonna get this, Im gonna go ahead and close this thread and concentrate elsewhere. Its been listed long enough here that anyone else that might be interested would have responded by now.
Sorry. I was in the process of moving and didn't have internet access. And what a surprise, I decided to stay in Dallas rather than move back to Houston. It was also a last minute decision. I am just physically unable to make use of this great deal.
LOL There's nothing wrong with a Westinghouse/LG/Olevia/etc, but the diff between my 23 inch Olevia and my 40 inch Samsung is night an day. You would think it would look sharper on a smaller screen, but, no such luck.
yes, I really hadn't been tryin very hard, I posted it here and at another small board Im a member at, but no money has shown itself. that said, Ive given it some thought and will be willing to knock it down to 800 total if someone takes both together. If seperate, 750 for the tv and 100 for the table/stand
I know I've said this before, but if it's still available next weekend I'll be coming over, barring any ridiculous last minute issues that requires me to stay in Dallas. (I started living life in the present and don't plan anything in advance anymore) edit: I just sent you an email.
Still available? My gf's TV just kicked the bucket and she showed some interest when I mentioned this to her.
