FYI, I found this on the Sporting Blog Oh and who did this editing on this video?? Yikes!
Thanks for sharing the video. Don't know who that girl is. Feel bad that we still have to wait several months before we can see Yao in Rox uniform again.
One of the most annoying song I've heard in about a quarter century. this is why asian people do not have a cool image. *sigh* things like this, harold (in harold and kumar), jackie chan.. etc... makes the us asian look so nerdy man. Media F's up our image!! The last "hipster" was Bruce Lee.
sucks for you then that Bruce wasn't even "chinese" he was mixed raced. his maternal grandfather was german-american I'm no fruit, obviously I recognize bruce lee was the greatest, it's just ironic that the one icon of Chinese masculinity that ppl bring up was not even fully chinese. what's even more awesome is how in the 60s bruce was disqualified from playing a mixed-raced chinese american on Kung Fu because well... he was a mixed-raced chinese american... they needed a caucasian to play that shiat. lol hollywood
Been to Asia twice, I'm not sure what your point is. And I get around plenty, I'm sure I have been to more places by the time I was 21 then you have been in your life. Have you been to Europe?? Asian men aren't portrayed as "nerdy" as they are here in America. Seriously, name 5 popular Asian Americans that didn't get famous for acting like a dork or being skilled in martial arts. Anyways, I'm over this thread.. nice to see yao ming getting love though, regardless of how repulsive that video is.
Too much effin makeup. And she does not have the classical chinese features of a beauty, she's ugly as a donkey. But um...proceed.
Hmm...I did a little research, this is Bruce Lee's father. And this is a little information about his father: http://www.sageartsstudio.com/student_section/articles/MA/BL_Bio.html Where did you find your information about his father?
Bruce's mother is half Chinese, half German. The following photos is Bruce with his parents when he was 5.
Wow, it hurts my eyes. She is freaking ugly and doesn't know how to dance.. Another "someone" who is trying to make herself famous by leveraging Yao's name.
Oh, sorry, it's my mistake. Please accept my apology, Mr. 'I know everything'...opp I mean...Pryuen. I admit I had no idea who his father was. I'd blame my mistake on the website because they put that picture just right next to the paragraph that they talked about his father. So is his father German? Or is his mother Chinese/German? Or both of his parents are German? You guys really confuse me.
Bruce Lee's mother, Grace Ho, came from one of the biggest and wealthiest families of Hong Kong.....the Ho Tung Family. She was the daughter of Ho Kam Tong, brother of Robert Ho Tung, who was a descendent of an Englishman of Dutch and Jewish descent by the name of H.T. Bosman. So as a 3rd generation of some mixed Eurasian blood, I think I was wrong to say she is half German. she could just be 1/8 or 1/16 of English or Dutch or whatever European mix. So Bruce Lee had very little foreign blood contents..... And from their family tree, Stanley Ho, the casino tycoon in Macau, is a cousin of Bruce Lee's mother and therefore an uncle for Bruce Lee.
