The salvaged tie against FC Dallas and the gritty, impressive victory against New York last Saturday look to be the start of something good. De Rosario and Onstad will return to the Orange after Canada's 3-2 defeat to Brazil this past weekend. However, the Dynamo will be without Eddie Robinson for an additional game after his red card ejection last week in Dallas. This is not good news for the Dynamo, as it will be Robinson's fifth game missed this season due to suspension. Tempers are something our team has had issues with; we all remember Ricardo Clark's season-over lapping suspension due to his violent reaction to Carlos Ruiz in Dallas. Hey, since this seems to happen against FC Dallas, the rivalry is really blossoming, albeit violently. However, do you think Robinson's reaction in the heat of the moment should be handled more seriously than Adrian Serioux's takedown of David Beckham, especially since Serioux made comments before Beckham's arrival? DC United, after winning last season's Supporters Shield, are sitting in last place in the Eastern Conference with 10 points. Luciano Emilio and Marcelo Gallardo are not living up to their DP statuses and have yet to click. This is the Dynamo's game to lose. Will you watch? The game is on local television, as many this season are. It should be a good one!
Eddie getting an extra game for pushing a guy is BS. It was a push to the chest and the Dallas player took a dive, getting an extra game for that when there are much worse plays every week makes no sense. And Onstad may be gone for this game, I think Canada kept him for their game against Panama.
Looks like the DC version of the game will be on HDTV. Channel 629 on DirecTV if you have it. No Eddie Robinson (suspension) and no Brian Ching (pregame injury). Should be a wet one. That field looks drenched.
Rain kept getting harder after play started, and now there is a delay in the 16th minute. Don't see too many rain delays in the middle of play, but half the field is showing puddles of standing water, just not safe for the players.
