dude i typed in only last names which worked fine - so when you get kenyon you get larue, same with David/Mychal Thompson, Magic/Larry Johnson, Andrea/Fabio Bargnani

I got 32/40, I knew everything from 1978 on except for Mark Aguirre. I was born in 88, so I forgive myself for missing the late 60's and the 70's except for the obvious ones like Kareem, Thompson, Walton, and Magic. Mychal Thompson is actually a radio host around here and does color for the Lakers radio broadcast, so I knew him too but I would have never realized he existed otherwise.

I should have known Larue Martin because of his comparison to Yao Ming by Dick Vitale. I also never knew that Doug Collins was the #1 overall draft pick, no wonder he was so hard on Kwame Brown.

    Great poll!

I got 32 of 40, I missed Ellison, Collins, Aguirre, Ellison, Robinson, Benson, Martin, Carr and Lanier. I was darn close on Aguirre and Ellison!

I remembered LaRue because of the ridiculously terrible rants of Dick Vitale when we drafted Yao who was supposed to be the second coming of LaRue according to him.

While drafting Jay Williams was going to move us into the winners circle.

    I wonder how that went

i would have gotten 33 if i knew how to spell brad's last name and michael's for the clippers

edit: oh yeah, new the italian dude but forgot his name completely for toronto

    edit2: wow I couldn't spell joe barry's last name either, so I'll assume i would have gotten 35. I'm a spelling wreck

    36/40

Technically I got an extra one when I typed in "Carroll" for Joe Barry Carroll, and it recognized Austin Carr before I got finished typing. So I probably only got 35 correct.

    Oh well.....

I missed Bob Lanier, Doug Collins, John Lucas, and Kent Benson (who???).

    32/40. 1981+ I was perfect.

I remember Mychal Thompson and JBC playing, but didn't realize they were number 1 picks.

You should put a spoiler around that so people don't get spoiled for doing it themselves.
