All I know is that Quitten needs to stop before somebody b**** slaps his punk butt for posing as somebody with game.

Headbands in the NBA started back in the 70's when Bill Walton wrapped a sweaty size 26 sock around his head in an acid induced fit.

The headband went on to enjoy great success in the ABA and really hit the big time with multiple Rides on the egg of The Great DR.J.

Soon hard time's fell on the headband. What could possibly bring down such a great fashion statement ? Drought ? No Floods ? No The band Loverboy ? Yes,after the band Loverboy came out in their spandex and headbands no self respecting NBA star would be caught dead wearing a headband.

The headband is once again gaining in popularity thanks to some young guns whom are too young to remember the horrid entity that was a Loverboy video.

good post DARo, but what im curious of is who were the young guns that started the trend THIS year. Cliff Rob and GFattling dont count. I mean, someone had to start it up again didnt they?

I hope Nsync or some other teenybopper band dont come out wearin HeadBands and kill it for everyone.

Uncle Cliffy wore headbands on and off all through the 90s, so lets credit him for keeping it alive.

I started to put a section in about Robinson. I used to think he looked like such a dork with his headband.

To answer your ? the first person I saw This year was Francis.Everyone else just want's to be like Steve.
