A city is deserted. (Since a possibility of flood coming, more than 1 million people evacuated from Mianyang city, china.)
I have only seen something like this in the movies. You wake up and walk out from a hospital and everything you see makes you wonder if you are the last person on earth...
experts can't predict exactly when the flood will come, may within a week, could be within a month as well. It depends on how the weather is gonna be in the coming days, heavy rain or not.
so has the chinese army blown the natural dams yet? what is that photographer still doing in the city?
My friends and family have pictures of Houston like that when hurricane Rita (didn't) hit. You could take a mattress out on major highways and sleep. That was so weird back then. I actually drove into town down 290 to get to IAH b/c I had a prior engagement to fly to. It was an incredible sight (prior to contraflow being set up) to see cars bumper to bumper in the dead of night along the entire 290 outbound from past Hempstead all the way to the city. I really should have taken a picture, as I was the only car going inbound.
