Nobody has mentioned anything about Steve's knees. I thought he was suffering from tendenitis in his knees is that something that heals on its own or does that require surgery.

SF is going to be our 3rd pg off the bench. he will probably give us 15 to 20 mins on good days and 5 to 10 mins on bad days.

he's going to be a bonus to us, but don't wage all your hopes on him. He's pretty much done.

I'm almost more willing to give him a chance than Mr. Invisible in the Playoffs, Luther Head...Just my personal opinion though...and I'm not really a Francis guy at all...

lol you guys crack me up. Seriously if someone were saying this stuff about you, how would you react? Go read a book on a beach and head to the Casinos or would you say screw them. I'll show them!! Course 30 million might make a big difference as to how one might react.

Even if he makes a full recovery, I don't see how he can be in game shape by October. He's not even allowed to run until July/August time frame.

Rockets are gonna sandbag him until he's ready to play. I'll bet they hold him on the sidelines until Dec sorta Bob Suralike.

He has no athletic left in him. Won't get whistles when he drives. He need to improve his shot to a very high level. Otherwise, he'll be just another Franchise Head.

    Practice your jumper, stevie.

I think after a disappointing season he wants back in. If he truly wants to make a contribution, he will get back in shape.

People really want something they do it. If he doesn't want it, then he won't. But I say give the guy a chance. I hope he gets better and gets back in shape by Nov/Dec. We can only hope he really wants back in the game and has the drive to do it.

I can see him at most being like a Penny Hardaway. Meaning even at his healthiest, his injury and age will take some athleticism and alot of his game away. Penny at least had other attributes like passing and size. Francis doesnt have that, and desperately needs to regain any bit of athleticism he still can or its gonna be really tough for him.

Looked like he had some serious hops at times this year, despite having a bumb knee. I think he even had a VC type dunk (jumped over the players head) this year, so he still had hops. He may not have any when he comes back, but only time will tell.

I think yall are giving up hope on stevie too fast. I think that there is a decent possibility he could be good.

For the sake of our team... I really hope that he's not in the Rockets rotation. For a team with championship aspirations, we need to be better at pg
