You never know, most of the man. united fans on here might be from Manchester(I doubt it) or been fans for a while, but regardless your statement is best applied to Chelski supporters.

Been a United supporter since I was yay high and I'm not from Manchester but
    Bishopstortford.

Just like the Busby Babes in Days gone by
We'll keep the Red Flags flying high
You've got to see yourself from far and wide
You've got to hear the masses sing with pride

    United! Man United!

Terry's a bloody Lion. That whole Chelsea team.

There's no team in the world that wouldnt sign JT if they could.

Anelka on the other hand... meh

I'm a Man U fan because of Park. Kind of like many Yao fans became Rocket fans. ;)

I've been a Manchester United fan ever since Tim Howard went to play for them. Even after he left I decided to stay a United fan. You can go back to all my posts on this site and see I was a United fan before today.

I'm happy for them for sure because they have had teams good enough to win the CL before, it's just taken a while. The one thing I think that they were lucky in was getting to face Roma. If they had played AC Milan or Juventus, I doubt they would have made it to the finals.

I feel bad for Terry, even though he's a Chelsea player, he is one hell of a defender.

AC Milan were nothing to fear this season and Juve were still adjusting on their return to serie A.

Good for you staying a United fan bruv.

    Terry is a freaking thug.

And Drogba is the most over-rated striker in the history of soccer.

Luckiest??? You have serious problem between your ears if you couldn't see that Man U deserves to have won this game even before the end of the regulation time.

Terry's an absolute Lion. If JT is a thug then Lord knows what you would call Carvalho or Materazzi.

If Drogba is the most overrated striker then what are Darren Bent, Louis Saha, Andy Johnson to name a few. He had about 3 shots that were mere inches from giving Chelsea the lead. We have no legitimate striker at United and I can assure you Drogba would be welcome if he wanted to switch sides.

Drogba is an excellent striker, one of the 5 best in the world, he just had a brain fart at the worst possible time. Chelsea fans will forgive Terry but it'll take a while before they forgive Droggles imho.

Imagine watching 90 minutes of bravery from this guy and then he slips, falls off the cliff, and never gets to finish the big fight.

No one would make a movie about or cheer for the...

    Choking Lion King.

Nick Anderson would have been proud today.

Without a doubt sport. Enjoy it. I'm a United supporter through and through and I don't disagree with the above. I disagree with you rubbish thoughts on Drogba but you're entitled to them.

Zboy, I don't know any Chelsea supporter with his mind right that's blaming Terry for that loss. Terry is Mr. Chelsea, no one else bleeds for Chelsea like he does and he played fantastic tonight. That was just an unfortunate PK, you can blame Drogba for not being there, or UEFA for choosing Luzhniki as the venue despite knowing that the pitch there is crap.

I started as a Ryan Giggs fan and it grew from there in the 90's (I was actually an Ian Rush fan before that and followed Liverpool).

Who are you to say how and when someone gets to become a fan? Everybody has to start sometime. With the Astros and Rockets, it started in the early 80's when...wait for it...they were both in the playoffs. Sometimes you start watching a team because they're really good. Sometimes that team is the best in the world with the best player in the world. I welcome more and more Man U fans just as much as I welcome more and more Rockets, Texans, Astros, and Dynamo fans.

What team do you support, if you even follow football?

yessirrrr. word is that they've signed nasri - 20 year old prodigy from marseille.

and i would say that manu is a "bandwagon" heavy team. not that i care, or diss anyone that is a manu fan. i used to like them back when o.g. solskjaer and van nistelrooy played for them, but they have become too trendy in my eyes. shrug

chelsea - dont care for them. theyre fairly new when it comes to successful football.

liverpool is a great club with rich history, but i hate their fans. remind me of red sox fans.

i could only watch the 1st half of the game. i'm downloading the 2nd half now. congrats to manu. arent they in like crazy amounts of debt??

euro 2008 starts in a little more than 2 weeks

I'm happy with the result. I'm not a Man U fan, But i dislike Chelsea (Terry is the only player I Like).

I'm happy for Van der Sar, as he said he finally had his Van Breukelen moment (for the non soccer fans Van Breukelen was one of the best goalies the dutch ever had, and he stopped an importent penalty in the Finals of Euro 1988 and in the Europacup 1 finals in 1988).

I'm looking forward to the European championships.

I have a strong feeling that CR7 is not going to play in EPL next season. He might play if he didn't win this EURO Champions League for Man Utd, now he has won everything a soccer player can win in EPL, mission accomplished, time to accept new challenge in Spain.

I think he always looks down on British soccer and thinks Spain has the best league in the world.

Did anyone else here laugh when Terry tripped?? I couldn't stop laughing for a while until I couldn't stop crying, then I felt bad.

Tevez was the hero tonight for getting Drogba out of the penalties.

Maybe he'll come to the MLS and face the biggest challange of all...make Americans soccer fans. :D

His footwork alone will give the MLS new fans, but they'll probably hate him after he takes his first dive.
