The Bulls landed the no.1 pick. It's obvious they are taking Rose or Beasley. As a result they have a wide range of players who would be made available. If they take Rose, they can either more Heinrich to SG or trade him. Moving Heinrich to SG would make Ben Gordon expendable. Duhon could be had then too. If they draft Beasley, Tyrus Thomas and/or Gooden would be on the market too. The fact of the matter is their will be few Bulls players on the market that will fill our needs. Tyrus is that athletic, shot-blocking 4 that would help offset Yao's slowness and "unathleticness". Gooden would be a nice interior scorer and solid rebounder that we could use alongside Yao at times or with Scola. Heinrich is a good defender, decent shooter and is really at the lowest trade value right now. He would help bolster our PG situation. Duhon also would be a decent acquisition. We should be in talks with the Bulls.

How I saw this coming.

Look how to spell someone's name before posting his name multiple times. The name is Hinrich.

Duhon is an unrestricted free agent BTW, so you don't need to trade for him.

IMO if the Bulls look to move a large contract it'll be either Hinrich (Rose) or Nocioni (Beasley).

I would love Hinrik :)p juicystream) but looking at his contract it would have to be a 3 way trade to get equal value for both teams. :(

Ben Gordon is a restricted free agent. They can draft Rose, move Hinrich to the 2, and let Gordon walk.

doubt it i dont think gordon is going to get a lot of money on the market and if there is a offer he signs they'll just match it. Hinrich isnt really a two guard at all i dont think he will succeed with having his primary minutes at the 2 spot.

i am sure as soon as the bulls got the #1 pick (and i am pretty sure they'll pick Rose who is from Chicago if I am not mistaken) a lot of teams with PG issues were knocking on Paxson's door trying to get Hinrich. I am not sure what we could offer the Bulls except possibly Bobby and a pick for Hinrich. Probably the only thing that would entice them since Bobby is coming off the books.

Hinrich isnt a star PG but a PG rotation of Rafer and Kirk would actually be one of the best in the league, not that they are all-star PGs but there would be little to no dropoff in how the offense is being run with the second unit.

I would love a second front line of Tyrus Thomas, Landry, Scola, Brooks, (somebody besides BJ and Luther) running teams into the ground. They want to run and Tmac and Yao walk it up.

It may as well be. If we can't do any better, I'd consider trading for Hinrich.

Regarding the Bulls PFs, no way on Tyrus Thomas. Has was a bust from day one and just doesn't have the motor or the heart to be a consistent NBA player.

Every team in the league will want to be in talks the the Bulls this offseason. Don't expect the Rockets to be the only team smart enough to realize they have talented pieces that aren't clicking there that are expenable.

Nobody should expect to get a Pau Gasol type steal from them. The only player i could imagine them giving up for little is Hinrich and if i was their GM i'd probably try to package him with someone else to get better value.

The Bulls are in a great position to make a trade with someone for an extra first round pick next year to keep building or a nice talented veteran to give them some much needed leadership.

I like your ideas but I don't want Gooden. I know you didn't mention Larry Hughes but I wouldn't want him either. It's going to be very tough to get anything done with Chicago but management should explore to see if they can get someone from them.

I think they are in a pretty good position in the draft. Either Beasley or Rose will be available to them. I don't see them trading it.
