I think that the conference isn't one of the strongest in the country this year, so I would imagine that you may have a 20 win team missing the tournament. I'd hate to see more then 5 teams from a mediocore conference, but I think we might see 6 teams. I'm thinking UConn, Pitt, Miami, ND, Syr, and St Johns. But the committee always favors Georgetown, so if they win 18 games, who knows. It looks like BC needs to go far in the Big East Tourney. Maybe Rutgers can get in, they are right there in the pack.

What do you all think about St. johns' Marcus Hatten's NBA potential? He's quick enough, but he's also too short to be SG and he would be another shoot first PG. Hopefully, he'll stay for senior year. I'm thinking that he'll be a good energy guard off the bench in the NBA. He's not a pure shooter, more of a scorer, but he plays great defense. Maybe like a young John Starks? I guess that makes him a late first rounder.

    I disagree.

I think the Big East is arguably the best conference top to bottom.

At the top, there's no team that strikes me as a title threat.

But, there aren't many weak teams, and every day there's a great matchup.

They deserve to have 7-8 teams go to the Dance.

I think St. Johns could give teams hell in the tourney with their full-court press.

    It is relentless.
