I finallly watched the ep last night and damn, I have to wait 2 weeks...I thought it revealed a lot and enjoyed it...I guess we'll all find out how the oceanic6 got picked...Ben has to know how to travel back and forth as we know he does this in the future...I'm curious to see how Locke moves the island... I will say Kate looks soooo hot...
I'm thinking the exact same thing. It looked like she wanted to lock Jin and Michael in there with the explosives in order to protect Aaron
Not really worthy of a bump but this past episode was the first time we've seen Kate in full makeup and dressed to kill. I think she's gorgeous with no makeup but I like her in warpaint even better.
Something I just noticed: The Oceanic 6 story was that they were rescued on day 108. 108 is the sum of the "numbers" and how often you had to push the button in the hatch.
http://thelostnumbers.blogspot.com/ more than you ever wanted to know about the numbers on LOST. You should email them to have them add it. Edit: wow I just noticed they haven't updated the site since last year!!! Never Mind!
I had a dream last night that there was a Lost movie, and in it, it turned out that the island was located just a few miles outside Decatur, Texas.
she had makeup on in last season's finale when she went to go meet jack at the airport parking lot. i just remember noticing it that she looked different. ah the wonders of HD detail
really? it looked like she was more worried about Jin than anything. i doubt she has any sort of real attachment to aaron i doubt she would prefer to keep him safe over Jin especially when she has her own child on the way. I think she holds either widemore or ben responsible as well. I could be wrong of course but it would seem she would be much more of a mental wreck in the future especially in the episode where she gave birth if she was one of the people who were responsible for Jin's death. The fact that she kept waiting/asking for him in the time of trauma and stress indicates to me that he is still alive but "dead" because she'll never get to see him again
I prefer Island Kate over Makeup Kate. http://lostpedia.com/wiki/The_Numbers ? or she was just concerned about the situation....
Finally saw this episode last night. "Jesus Christ is not a weapon." Great stuff. Did anyone else think that Hurley was going to crack that statue over someone's head and heroin packets would fall out? I know it wouldn't make a lot of sense, but it was the first thing I thought of when he grabbed the statue (and yes, I know it was the virgin Mary that had the heroin in it in season's past). I would like to echo the sentiment that they damn well better not kill of Desmond in that freighter with the C4. That time travel episode with Desmond when he calls Penny years later to find his "anchor" was one of the best emotionally intense moments of the entire series so far. I know it doesn't sound very masculine...but I NEED to see those two get back together. Since the obituary for the small casket mentioned suicide...I wonder if we are going to have an intense scene where Michael tries to get Jack to go back to the island...and to prove the island's power tries to show Jack that he can't die by putting a gun to his head, only to find out that the island is through with him and has no problem with him dying. They've set up the gun to the head on two separate occasions with the gun jamming...I could see them doing this to screw with us. The sheer gut-wrenching aspect of seeing that might drive Jack to go to the funeral and ultimately push him over the edge mentally. I thought it was interesting, I was remarking to my wife the other day that it had been a long time since The Numbers were even mentioned on the show. Then they appear on the odometer. Also, I keep wondering how Walt fits into all this. I agree with whoever mentioned that they will introduce Aaron as The One that the island is ultimately looking for...but for the longest time they seemed to indicate that Walt might be that kid. But he has barely been in the show since the end of season 2. Also, has there been any mention or explanation of why the gigantic partial-statue foot had 4 toes on it? They dropped that in a while back like it would be significant, but then...nothing. I'm stoked about the season finale.
Also, according to lostpedia, at Hurley's party there were 4 palm trees, 8 balloons, 15 presents on the table, 16 people wearing party hats, and there were 2 guys wearing jerseys that had the numbers 23 and 42. Not yet.
Agreed. That episode was the best episode on a tv show I have ever seen! Desmond MUST get back with Penny. There are no but's. HE HAS TO!
I just found it convenient that the vault door scene shot was a little after Sun mentioned that there were 2 people responsible for Jin's death. She mentioned her dad being one of them. I'm thinking either Aaron or Sun herself is the other person she's referring to. This is great story telling by the way. We already know what's going to happen, yet we're still glued to the TV to see everything happen.
No episode last week. BTW, ABC is replaying the last episode before the finale at 7:00 (followed by the 2-hour finale).
See, I don't remember that from the first airing. Libby and Charlie were the other 2 who survived the crash according to the Oceanic 6 story.
