Ok guys, I've got to downsize my living room to prepare for a 8 foot cabinet built around a 6 foot reef tank, and this stand and table just takes up too much room, nothing wrong with either the tv or the stand, the TV has alot less viewing hours than you might think as we tend to not hang in the living room that often. It is a Samsung HLR5067WX 50" DLP HDTV Code: Product Details Key Features Projector Technology DLP Digital TV Standard HDTV Screen Size 50 inch Display Capabilities Broadcast Format Supported 720p (HDTV) Digital TV Standard HDTV - HDTV receiver is integrated. Depth 14 in. Height 34.3 in. Weight 72.8 lb. the stand is metal frame, with tinted glass shelves and a center drawer. Very well made, very heavy...think it cost about 250-300 new....no scratches on the glass or marks on the wood. It is 70" long, 22.5 tall and 23.5 front to back. I cant see taking less than 1K for them together, but might be amiable to a deal for a clutchfan. Lets try to keep this local if we can, shipping on this monster just doesnt seem feasible. questions?
ha, R2K has a Wii, I can imagine him playing Wii Sports... i'd be down on this if it wasn't for my debt
As much as I would love to make things easier on this, as a married guy, I *do* have to listen to my banker, and she isn't willing to extend credit....not even to clutchfans. Sorry. Dude.....I am SO the top dog in this house when it comes to Wii Sports come on Dave, everyone owes three times their yearly pay in debt, its the American Way!! Firstly, we don't have PM activated on this board, so what you need to do if you cant keep up with the thread is to subscribe to it (under Thread Tools at the top of the thread) second, I am really in need to get both out of the living room to make space for the reef tank(incoming real soon) and I have no extra storage space for the stand, so I really need them to go together. but IF I did seperate them....the tv takes up 850 of the asking price, the stand was only around 300 new so Im only asking 150 for it.....but Im not going to entertain seperation until I have no other option. Maybe if someone needs the stand only and is willing to buy it, then I could sell the tv by itself.
redefined if you're serious, send me a email thru the board I tried to send you one and you dont have it set to allow emails. the tv was just over 2K new and the stand was somewhere between 250-300. 1000 seems fair for any of you guys, Ill knock off 100 900 come and get it.
Boooooooo! redefined is an ingrate. At least make him say Dirk is a p***y before you knock off a 100.
east of Houston, 30 minutes from downtown. Baytown Im about 2 miles south of I10 you might want to go ahead and email me
It doesn't look like I'm coming to Houston after all. I'll probably come down sometime next week. If it's still available, I'll contact you. It's a great TV and you can't beat that price with the stand. My 61" version of this TV is now fried thanks to lightning striking our building. I was able to replace everything else from Costco, but this TV was bought online. Luckily I have renter's insurance and am just waiting for my claim to go through!
ok, obviously it would be difficult to hold it if someone else comes up with the money first....Im sure you can relate. Im not expecting the actual tank to come in till late next week anyway, so if I have to wait till ya make it down here, its not that big of a deal. and you're right, its a really good set, not a scratch on it or a dead pixel in sight....thats why I will be replacing it with another Samsung, Im really impressed with their HDTVs. The DLP is just too damn big for me now.
If only I lived in Houston, I'd be all over that. I'm not sure how my fiancee would react when I put that TV in our bedroom though. (52" already in the living room). I can't believe no one has bought this from you yet.
I'm in discussion with someone, but it isnt a done deal yet. I should know one way or the other in the next day on that one. redefined expressed interest but I havent heard anything specific from him except that he might be in town next week and is interested. Im tryin to go in order as I was contacted, but till someone shows up with money in hand and a truck to haul it away it is still for sale.
Earliest I'll be in town is Saturday. I'm sure you'll sell it by then. And if it is gone, I'll just have to wait for those new laser tv's to hit the shelves! Dear God guys, a 50" Samsung DLP + a stand for 900 and nobody here is interested???
Not a big fan of DLP anymore, wall mountables like plasma and LCD are more appealing to me personally. Either people here already have their living room entertainment setup or are just broke students. Great deal, great TV, great stand, great price, but I already have my entertainment setup and not ready to make changes. otherwise I'd be all over this.
Really good deal, unfortunately I asked a friend who was looking for a large HDTV for his living room (46" or bigger) and he said he doesn't want a DLP, it's too large for his apartment. He wants something mountable. It's a shame, this is a very good deal. Good luck, R2K, sorry I couldn't help out...
well, discussion fell thru. still available and ready to roll for the first person to hand me money. Looks like you may be in luck redefined, I've had a couple hits from CL...but nothing definite.
