Being a patriotic Aussie, I just had to post this:

    2 Gold Medals!

I LOVE being an Aussie!! Woo hoo!! We are the only country in the southern hemisphere with a medal of any kind this Olympics.

I want to know the truth; did your speed skater really spray Pam on the ice? ;)

Congratulations! That speed skating gold was about the luckiest one I've seen, but hey, they all count. ;)

( As a footnote I'll add that Canadians won the silver and bronze in the aerials, behind the Aussie. :D )

It's amazing. No gold medals for 74 years, then two in 48 hours! Now, if only they'd show the medal ceremonies. F***ing NBC!!

I was watching the Olympics tonite at a friends house with the TV on mute. We were listening to Brian Eno while some gold medalists cried. Very touching.:)

I just finished watching the Medal Ceremony on 7, she seemed a little happy. (By the way, I was being sarcastic!) :D
There will be special postage stamps of Steve Bradbury and Alisa Camplin, and a state reception for them when they get home.

New s just in.....Apparently the Russians are challenging the results/judges for a medal position....just heard that on TV. WTF??? Are they crazy??
