Should Francis sit out the rest of the season?

Since the Rockets are pretty much out of the playoff race, would Steve sitting out the rest of the year help his migrane madness? I'd do it if means terminating these headaches.
This is killing the chemistry of the Rockets and this cannot happen long term, or the Rockets will go nowhere. I mean, Francis being a game-time decision each game sucks. It makes him less valuable to the team. As a Rockets fan, I desire to see the Rockets improve, but if this is a long term thing with Francis, there will be no improvement.

It puts Rudy T in a bind because he can't prepare the way he would like to. Yet people want Rudy T fired? What can he do when given a hand like this. Last time I remember, he took a bunch of crappy role players and made last year's team 45-37. This "Rudy T should be fired" talk should be put to rest.

From a health standpoint, Is Francis going to have migranes the rest of his life, or will it be only for this season. How come he did not have them last season? How did these headaches suddenly come about? I've never had them, don't know much about them, so I am confused.

What is a nice goal in the last three seasons (including this one?)

1999-2000 was a good season because Francis was Rookie of the Year

2000-2001 was a good season because the Rockets got their arena

2001-2002 can be a good season if Francis can get back to normal

Sitting out would, in all likelihood, do absolutely nothing with regards to the migraine situation.

Sitting out probably wouldn't help so I hope they figure it out before next season.

Incidentally, there has only been one coach in recent NBA history to keep his job after missing the playoffs four consecutive years. I think it should remain one if we miss the playoffs again next season.

I have not had migraines too often until this year. It sucks....I'm usually nauseas and can't open my eyes as the light bothers me. Lifting my head off of the pillow often makes me more nauseas(sp) than before. I have no history of this but they come and go in spurts.

The only thing I can think of that causes them in my case is the amount of rest I receive, stress, and/or allergies.

Sitting out the rest of the year could ruin his confidence as he may think the team doesn't care.

The Chronicle mentioned that there is a fear that the migraines and/or vertigo may cause him to misjudge a landing from a dunk or rebound and cause a leg injury. I think that is a real possibility and the Rockets are tempting the fates by putting him out there. I do also remember Francis saying once a while back that he gets migraines more often on game days than on off days, so it might give him some relief to not play.

Personally, I'd rather he sat out until they has some sort of handle on the problem. At the very least, time off would give him more time to see doctors and do his anti-migraine exercises.
