I've got a friend that just graduated, and he wants to ultimately become a CIA agent or FBI agent. He has to go through field training first, and I think he has to be a police officer first.

Anyone into the law enforcemnt scene? I need to get him a gift. What's the best book for beginning CIA Agent careers? Need answer ASAP! Thanks for the input

You don't need to be a police officer before getting a job as an FBI agent or with the CIA.

Yep. I actually had an invitation to work as a FBI summer intern. But they pays like crap, and don't really let you do anything interesting. So I declined.

Go to their website and look in the job opportunities. But they probably don't have "Super Agent" or "Spy" listed on there.

You know what your friend looks like to me, with his good bag and his cheap shoes? He looks like a rube. A well scrubbed, hustling rube with a little taste. Good nutrition has given him some length of bone, but he's not more than one generation from poor white trash, is he, clutch citizen? And that accent he's tried so desperately to shed? Pure Houston TX. What's his father, dear? Is he a coal miner? Does he stink of the lamp? You know how quickly the boys found him... all those tedious sticky fumblings in the back seats of cars... while he could only dream of getting out... getting anywhere... getting all the way to the FBI!

You need a bachelors degree and speaking multiple languages helps a lot. Go on their website and look at what they need/want for job requirements.

It's a great read. It's basically a recollection of september 11, 1973, the day that pinochet, along with the CIA, killed democracy.

Because Allende was doing such a wonderful job of promoting democracy.

I'll file this one right next to the idea that the FARC has no involvement with narcotrafficking.

What? No mention of S.H.I.E.L.D. ? I rather meet a super hero than an NBA ref.
