I'll take the HOFer guy over the 0-7 in the first round guy.

T-Mac will be in the HoF...

But anyway, easily Hakeem because of his incredible defensive impact.

I am not arguing with you about who is better and why, but all I am saying is both will be in the HoF.

For the future of my personal Rockets sanity I hope you are right because that would mean T-Mac and Yao finally made it past the first round and beyond. I really hope so and believe it will happen (hopefully starting this upcoming season).

Anyone who voted for T-Mac must have never seen Hakeem play.

I really don't think they will deny a back to back scoring champ who broke a ton of franchise records and youngest player to reach _____, along with a ton of All-NBA team selections and All-Star selections, from the HoF even if he doesn't get past the first round. He won't be a first ballot HoF unless he starts getting some team accomplishments under his belt, but he'll get in without a doubt IMO.

Hakeem is indisputably better than any swing outside of MJ/West/Dr. J - and even then he more than holds his own against them.

It's Hakeem with no question. If he played against today's big men, someone would be getting embarrassed; he'd easily be the best player in the league.
