My newest nerdy additions to my home...all authentic originals. Star Wars Style "D" poster. Released in 1978, about one year after the original release. Lucas wanted a throwback poster to the "circus" style of the 40s and 50s. His favorite art, the original artwork hangs over his fireplace at his home: The Australian one sheet featuring Japanese artist Noriyoshi Ohrai's artwork for Empire Strikes back. Only a few countries featured this artwork and this is the best representation with full English wording. Many people believe this is the best artwork for the movie. British Quad for Return of the Jedi. A full 30"x40" (many were trimmed to better fit the London Underground). Features artwork by favorite Fantasy artist Josh Kirby, maybe best well known for his artwork for the Discworld series of books for Pratchett. One of my personal favorites for the color and size. It looks awesome on the wall, framed. My version is the slightly rarer "Ewok" version.
