Who here has NEVER dated within your own race?

I don't date within my race b/c the girls are prudes and don't put out as most other races (even at my age - in my 30s)...

 

I don't have any brothers or sisters, and in my culture everyone is like extended family in a way. Whenever I run into girls of my own race in public, I sort of view them like extended family so it would feel a little weird/incestuous for me to pursue them. That's not so say I don't find girls of my own race hot. It's just a mental thing that happens most of the time when I meet a new girl of my race...I just don't think of them as someone I'm looking to date.

 

I haven't either. I'm simply not attracted to them. I used to be infatuated with South Americans for a while, but I'm solely sticking with Russians from here on out.

 

What's it like to date outside of your race?

 

Does it count if I haven't dated a salvadorean?

I'm ethnically Chinese and have never dated another Chinese. I have dated a Korean before but mostly been whites. I think part of it has to do with where I've lived and part of it has to do with culture. Even when I lived in Asia I didn't date Asians. While a lot of the Singaporeans where nice to look at I couldn't relate to them that much culturally.

 

I'm pretty sure I've tapped all the major ethnic groups in the U.S. by now. If there is something else out there, please alert me to it and I will get to it ASAP.

My best friend is Vietnamese and he's never dated anything but white girls. We'll both be 30 this year, so he's had plenty of chances.

I am black and have dated black girls, not that many though. I have dated white, hispanic, and asian girls too. I am equal opportunity. But to be honest, there are more white girls out there than anything. That is a mathematic fact. So I have had more chances to date white chicks. Also, white chicks are the only ones who have come up to me and started talking. Go figure.

Also, I think that Rocket River might be on to something. If you grew up in a situation that most of the people you met in your race were not good people, then you probably won't be attracted to them when you grow up.

Now when you talk about preference, if I could find a black/asian/hispanic chick who is about 5'6", that would be perfection, and our kids would be cute too!

I have not dated whites, indians, native americans or any middle eastern ethnicities. It's not that I don't want to date them, it's just I have a preference towards Latinos, blacks and mixed.

 

I have dated mostly in my ethnic group... other than when I was in college. Not because of any particular preference but because those are the groups I am exposed to.
