I went to a SnS on the way to Chicago for our boy's wedding, it was damn good. Been wondering when they were gonna come down here. of course, it does me no good all the way over there, I am not driving to the other side of town for a burger.
Awesome place. I hit up the one in Southern MD, awesome awesome awesome. Great burgers and they give you so much fries you'd have to be an animal to finish it all. Steak n shake- blah! I hit up the ones here in Dallas, the burgers are overpriced, fries are ****ty string fries. On the other hand, the pancakes they serve for breakfast are the best i've tasted so far in this country. My cousin tells me of a wicked pancake house in Chicago but as of right now Steak n shake has the best imho.
Very good. That's a ways from where I live, but I'll make it out there a few times. Steak 'N Shake is based in my hometown.
Quoted for truth. Steak N Shake is totally overrated. They take a piece of meat the size of a meatball and some how smash it to oblivion to make it a paper-thin burger. Fries aren't so bad but their burgers are crap. Their milkshakes on the other hand were awesome!
Pedestrian burgers. The draw is the eleventy million different shakes, malts and other beverages. Unfortunately, for Cheeburger, Cheeburger, Sonic's got that market cornered.
I agree with you but since Chick Fil A came out with Milkshakes, I don't even mess with Steak n shake. Chick fil a have some baaad milkshakes man.
Amen. You pay $75 for a $2 burger. Just terrible. If I want to overpay for a burger, I'll go Fuddrucker's. Damn damn damn, I FREAKING LOVE this song.
Five Guys rocks the house... you guys will enjoy. I think I might have go to get it for lunch b/c of the thread.. cajun fries!
cajun fries too. and the free peanuts are always good. if you like the bun/bread, get a couple of "little cheeseburgers" (or hamburgers).. if you like more meat, just get one regular sized one.
