same here. but when it rains, im forced to drive. in a dry month ill spend ~$50 on gas. compared to driving every day = ~$240/month.
I drive about 50 miles to and from work each day.. and it takes about 10 days to need a fill up... when I do its about a $40 to fill up.... doing math.. yuck. $120-150 per month. I think my car gets pretty good gas mileage though. It's a Civic.
Do you mean Hummer? Not my style...... Either way; I have no plans on changing my style........I'm not complaining.
I probably fill up every 6 days, that's 5 times per month @ $50 per fill up...so roughly $250/month. Oh you wanted weekly? That comes out to $62.50/week. Pugs
I guess I end up driving about 50 miles a day to and from work. Usually have to fill up once a week at about $40. so thats about $160 a month. Considering I work part time thats like 1/6th of my salary :\
I drive a civic, I'd say about $50-70 a month, strickly to and from work. I used to drive an xterra, that was about $150 a month. Now I just drive the xterra for shopping and when I'm not driving to and from work, so it's about 60 a month now.
I drive a Acura TSX and spend about $50 per week so that's like $200 per month. I drive about 45 miles round trip everyday. I'm reallly HOPING it won't hit $4 per gallon this summer cuz that would suck. I would have to ask my boss to consider letting us to work from home more than two times a month.
$30 a week. I have to use supreme but I only live 2 miles from my work. I'm about to get myself a 10 speed though with my economic stimulus check
Dodge truck. I have a pretty heavy boat, and although I don't use it much, it requires some muscle. I'm a landman with some specialized skills, so I don't just work in one county. I cover several counties in East Texas and a few in South Texas, so I get a lot of windshield time. I'm reimbursed for mileage at the IRS standard rate, and although it sure as heck doesn't cover gas, oil, AND depreciation, I'm not going to complain. If I complain, then I need to change my style, give up the boat, and drive a prius or something..........and I'm not willing to do that. So I just try to look on the bright side.........higher gas prices should cause people to drive less, and I HATE traffic.
i'm about $150 a month for work-fill up 3 times a mth at ~$50 each time. 20 miles/day, 2000 accord, city driving. not too bad. it does take me 40 min to drive 10 miles though on the way home. the way to work is just 10-15 minutes though. can't complain too much.
Who has had he same car for the past 5+ years? Does anybody remember what it cost to fill your tank up when it was under $2 a gallon? I remember mine was under $20. Now it cost more than double that.
