Add the 4 extra for the Texas split and you have the 57 plus one left to visit. Or is it two? That did not make any sense. Still, all his nonsensical quotes can't come close to filling a daily calendar...
So we should jump at the chance to vote for a guy who makes nonsensical quotes because he makes fewer of them than the guy that is in the office now? That somehow seems odd.
Anybody running for the President is going to say stupid stuff at some point... usually from fatigue (Most likely the culprit in this case) or unfamiliarity with the local audience or any number of other reasons. This is particularly true now when candidates are on camera as soon as they leave the hotel in the morning. The point I was trying to make is that Obama's remark doesn't fit a pattern of stupidity and silliness like our current president's malapropisms.
Dumb dumb, you got it all wrong. Here you go: Saudi Arabia, India, Bosnia, Philippine, Cambodia, Costa Rica and Japan.
clearly he meant to say he had been to 47 states, not 57. 2 states his staff this allow him to go, and then oregon where he was speaking and that makes 50.
Has he been to West Virginia yet? He's about to get blown the F out there... some polls show down by 40 !
Jorge, would you please remind us of George W.'s accomplishments prior to his nomination for the Republican Candidacy. Ceremonial, figurehead postings, and failed companies don't count.
bush has left a mess every where. when he ran for governor, he ran on cracking down on criminal youth, a rampant problem at the time to be fair. he increased the tyc, which is now experience all kinds of problems because they couldn't hire qualified personnel to handle a complicated issue like juvenile crime.
LOL! That's so funny! Obama is stupid too. My wife has been here for only 2 years, could barely speak English, and even she knows U.S. has 50 states!
Dude, the level of IRONY of this statement given your support of the current President is of the charts.
I think the fact that something like this can be so heavily discussed says something about Obama's lack of significant weaknesses. Oh no, he said "fifty-seven" instead of "forty-seven". He doesn't wear a lapel pin! The GOP is probably digging frantically for something new to smear Obama with. Otherwise they'll have real problems this fall when Obama is destroying McCain in the debates. Wright will be a distant memory, and just as insignificant as he deserves to be. McCain will need something to talk about besides gas taxes.
No, no. T_J has told us time and time again that he is elite, through and through. He discusses economics with Mexican industrialists! When he says, "Ponder that over your non-fat, no-whip mocha." ... he's calling you a poor slob, one who cannot afford to drink Pinot Noir with his breakfast, who can't afford a red Bentley or an HD Plasma-screen digital watch or a Frank Gehry doghouse for his mastiff. Your coffee can't compare to the fine cheeses and designer drugs on which he munches.
