We've got dogs on acid. Dogs in suits. Dogs driving Mercedes. And you wonder why they jam planes down our throats?
True story: When I was in high school (ca. 1986) I gave my kitten (about 2 months old) a tiny sliver of (paper) acid. We spent the entire night watching that thing do (what we thought was) the most hilarious things. The cat lived a full, perfect life of about 16 years. It was indeed the smartest cat I have ever had the experience to know. Until it died, it would literally bob its head to the beat of whatever music was playing. Seriously.
The thing is, you don't really know if the dog/cat is enjoying the acid trip. It may not kill him but he could be having the worst time of his life.
