hate Fakers much much more, hope Jazz can beat LA.
actually the hate for Utah is coming from last seven-game-series loss, I would hate any team as much as I do for Jazz if they beat rockets two years in a row. but itz kinda temporary.
But Fakers, my hate on them is as much as my love for rockets

The funny thing about the love for Boozer is most Utah fans are really disenchanted with him right now. They criticize him for playing no defense... and I have to say I agree. He's one of those guys who sometimes gives up as much as he gets. My brother's a huge Jazz fan and he cheers when Boozer goes out and Millsap comes in.

yeah, the current jazz team is not as dirty and floppy compared to their malone-stockton era.

    so what?

to quote a famous alien antagonist <i>"Have IQs suddenly dropped while I was away"</I>

seriously, anyone donning a jazz jersey is worthy of acrimony. hell, even hakeem olajuwan...and i'll tell you why:

because you'd have to be a douche bag to even consider playing for that team. obviously, dream is no douche bag.

    point. set. match.

I'm an Eagles fan. That star team from dallas is despicable even if they sign Jesus Christ, Gautama Buddha, and Swami Narayana.

The same rule goes for the jazz, the braves, and the Soviet National Team.

in Rockets language, Utah has been and will continue to be

    Public Enemy #1

until, we beat them, there is no one in their right mind who can call themselves a Rockets fan and be pleased with what they see from the Utah Jazz.

As long as Jerry Sloan is the coach of that team they will never be respectable. He coachs tactics are based on exploiting ref calls. Such as the last play he designed on Game 3 vs the Rockets. That jerk actually designed a play based on getting a flop call.

I can't respect the players either. Only someone with no respect for the game of basketball would buy into Jerry Sloan. Watch Harpring play on offense. His jobs consists of running through the paint and trying to bump into other players and getting calls. its disgusting.

To sum up Utah Jazz basketball is horrible for the game.

I LIVE in LA and don't any longer hate the Jazz more than the Lakers with the current makeup of Utah's team. In my heart I don't see the Jazz as a threat like in years past, and I think the last two years we were the better team, with circumstances that prevented us from advancing past them (injuries, inexperience, numerous line up changes that created a lack of continuity and cohesiveness between our players, injuries, different head coaches etc.) and I still like seeing Utah get beat almost every series or game they play (accept for the Lakers) but the seething hatred for the current team just insn't there like in the past.

Although there doesn't appear to be any real A-holes on their team, I hate San Antonio and Dallas more than I hate Utah at this time with all of those teams being at the bottom of my list of teams that I like. Sometimes hating a team so strongly takes away your ability to actually see the talent and cohesion and how well coached a much hated rival actually is. Just my $.02

I agree with almost everything you said...Good post... San Antonio and Dallas definitely have to be the most hated...They are the only two other texas teams!! That's why i will always hate those franchises and wish them an eternity of bad luck and failure.

You mean to tell me that most of you didn't enjoy seeing Dallas get whacked by BD and the Warriors last year (a series of absolute beauty), and then again this year seeing them get beat down by the upstart Hornets more than seeing Utah get outsted by anyone but the Rockets? Add the Spurs clinging to their playoff lives in a crucial game 3 being down 0-2 was more satisfying and enjoyable for me personally. All I'm saying is they've (Utah) slipped a couple of notches on my hate list mainly because I don't see them as a threat to the Rockets once the Rocks get everyone healthy and add the backup bigs and third scorer and quality PG they need to go deep into the playoffs.

Well except for Deron Williams and maybe Boozer, I do like them and they are pretty damn good players.
