so I am listening to the CD I've had in my car for about 4 months now, and I just had an epiphany that I'm kinda tired of listening to "still DRE", "Juicy", "troublesome 96", "Nuthin' but a G thang", and other great old school songs everyday for 120 straight days.. so I decided that I need me a new CD.. thing is, I pretty much have every 2pac song that I like on a seperate CD, but I'm also bored with that one.. I tried to listen to 93.3 to get some new songs, but everything is pretty much TRASH, yeah trash.. seriously, "she sucked me like a lollipop"? what kinda lyrics are those? .

sooo..

I thought I would start this thread to get some suggestions for making a CD for the car.. I want some songs with great beats, kinda like "still DRE" (IMO best beat of all time) .. it doesn't matter what time period they're from, my favorite is old school rap, but I don't have a problem with new stuff as long as they have quality lyrics (pretty hard to find nowadays huh?)..

remember, nice beats (wanna utilize the bass), and somewhat quality lyrics..

Note: Rick Astley's "Never Gonna Give You Up" doesn't count

start brainstorming..

I know I'll get kill for this but I think some of the best beats coming from a rap song are the ones made by Timbaland PRE-2006.

Ironically some of the best beats come from some of the crappiest rappers. The beat carries them. Most of 50 cents hits are just that because they have a great beat.
