I'm glad Obama is stumbling now than 4 months later. It brings him down to earth and keeps him hungry. Hopefully in this time, he'll take some sensitivity courses for his slips of the tongue.
Hasn't Barack admitted to doing crack cocaine in his youth? Was he what you might call a 'crackhead'?
Cocaine, yes, crack, no. Facts, meet t_j, I know he doesn't deign to acknowledge your presence much, but keep flying in his face and he'll be unable to ignore you!
andy, again, please ease up on the hateful speech and insults. Can you at least try to keep it civil in here? You're contributing to the problem, not the solution. Thanks in advance. by the way - you probably didn't know this, but crack is made from cocaine.
And yet, cocaine is not made from crack. Thus, given that the question was if he did crack, your note is irrelevant. The transitive property is useful to understand.
My uncle is as right wing as you get, and he crossed over to vote for Obama in Tx. His worst fear is a Hillary as president, even more so than probably marking a vote for probably the first African American he has supported in his life. Those crossing over are if anything making it more plausible Clinton returns to the White House (one way or the other) and for an Obama-Clinton ticket that will set back the Republican Party for a decade. The longer this plays out, the more it helps Dem registration and organization. Doesn't take a Norman Einstein to see turnout looking way in favor of whichever Dem candidate takes the nom (all but certain Obama on the top, ? on the bottom). But then again I am not a delusional fool surrounded in my radio and life by similar delusional fools. My uncle to his credit isn't either.
My dad did the same thing, except that he votes for State Rep Joe Deshotel every time he's up, so the voting for an African American thing didn't bother him. And my dad will likely vote for McCain in November.
The longer Clinton and Obama carry on their primary runs the less time McCain gets any headlines. How much would it cost any of the candidates on their own to get as much press as Clinton and Obama are getting right now ?
Hey, I listen to Rush LimBaugh every other day and I'm not even an American I commute to school every other day. On my way back, it's usually Rush time! Love him or hate him, you must admit that he's quite a character. Here are an "outsider's" observations: 1, Rush's ego was hurt big time when McCain literally "crushed" him in the Republican primary. He needs to make something back. By anointing himself the "Commander-in-Chief of U.S. Operation Chaos", and by announcing the operation a big success (in his own words, more successful than the American Revolution), he can once again sleep well at night with his ego full and whole as in the good old days. 2, Operation Chaos has created chaos among Rush's chaotic faithfuls. Some simply don't get the "brilliancy" of his highness' master brainchild. The other day I honestly thought he was going to blow up when he was yelling at the top of his voice at one of his loyal call-in listeners. Poor old lady. And poor Rush... 3, Anyone who listens to someone who constantly reminds people that he's in possession of talent "on loan from God" must be pretty hopeless and helpless. I know, I'm darn hopeless 4, Rush LimBaugh is way better than Bill O'Reilly. At least his passion is real and he doesn't use the word "smart" 100 times in a single sentence. Compared to O'Reilly, LimBaugh is a sane and humble man! Guys, you gotta give him that
Are you talking about TJ and Bigtexx? I will sometimes listen to Rush for 5-10 minutes on the car radio and then sure as clockwork, TJ, Bigtexx and often Basso are echoing the same talking points. You only need about 5 minutes of Rush to get the talking points of the day.
How is that an insult? You and your twin let T_J's spanking from Jeff the other day go to your heads.
I admit I'm a little young when it comes to presidential elections, but is there any reason for this primary system to exist? All seems so convoluted and is dragging on this primary way too long for my taste.
Rush Limbaugh says he backs Obama http://www.cnn.com/2008/POLITICS/05/07/limbaugh.obama/?iref=hpmostpop * Story Highlights * Talk radio host says he wants Barack Obama to get Democratic nomination * Limbaugh: "He would be the weakest" of the Democratic nominees * He had urged listeners to support Hillary Clinton in "Operation Chaos" effort * Obama backer: Limbaugh behind Clinton's Indiana win; political analyst disagrees
LOL, god how can anyone take this guy seriously? It's obvious he sees that his little operation has failed and that no matter what Obama is going to win the nomination. So to save face he starts saying he actually wants Obama to be the nominee. This guy is so incredibly transparent, just like the sheep out there that actually take him seriously. Priceless.
