unless you have a quote of MLK saying GD america, or TB was invented by the .gov to kill black people, you cannot really back that up.

Plus MLK gets hero status like all of our heros do. By overlooking things we don;t want to see. no one is without flaws.

and the general consensus in those countries was that the US should not have used the bomb on japan?

i find that very very hard to believe bc im a korean american myself. i lived in korea from 2003-2005. and the general consensus i came away with is that koreans still harbor a lot of animosity against japan.

im sure many of the chinese and chinese american posters can vouch for the chinese opinion on this matter. and so on and so forth.

japan is easily the most despised country in asia.

Yes. Exactly. I can not believe that people can't see the difference. I guess they hate America too. It is more than understandable to be concerned about someone who makes such statements and is so closely connected a presidential candidate. To not be concerned is to be blind.

Korea is the one country who's people support America no matter what they do. I can vouch for most of Europe and Western Asia in that people I have spoken too all say America dropping bombs was a cowardly move. Of course the rest of Asia despises Japan because for a long time it was very powerful.

Yes, that was the reson Asia depises Japan, it was because Japan was powerful! That's all we need to know about you! Thanks for clearing up any misconceptions.

I think you are completely full of ****. My wife and her family (EU citizens) also thinks you are full of ****. Sorry if we don't accept your "vouching".

It's also pretty freaking arrogant to speak for a large percentage of the population of the entire earth. Maybe you are just surrounded by other delusional people or perhaps they were trying to be nice and not tell you how they think that Japan got exactly what it deserved in WWII.

da1 sounds like a Frenchman trying to pose as "world opinion".

I heard of our threats to use nukes again as cowardly, but outside of WTO protest rallies, people are generally willing to give the US a pass on the first two bombings.

They despise you because of the genocide, the war crimes against humanity and the horrid atrocities that your devilish muthafu@ker ancestors had done in the 1930's and the 1940's, you dumb ass.

Korea supports America no matter what they do?

obviously you dont know much about korean politics. your lack of knowledge on this subject is shining through...

so which western asian nations say dropping the bomb is cowardly?
iran? syria? pakistan? afghanistan? kazakstan? urkaine? georgia?

    which european nations?

so if dropping the bomb was cowardly, then what would have been the better option? firebomb every major city in japan? follow that with a major ground invasion in which the allies would have to shoot civilians running at them w/ grenades. and watch millions of civilians commit suicide?

while the civilians of hiroshima and nagasaki didnt deserve to have the bomb dropped on them, they were just a small % of the total number of casualties caused by the japanese. the civilians of nanking didnt deserve to have their bellies ripped open by bayonets. the women of asia didnt deserve to be forced into becoming sex slaves. the british/us/dutch/french pows didnt deserve to be marched to their deaths...

yeah, morally speaking, what the US did was wrong but atleast they own up to their mistakes. where as the japanese try to let their action fade into history.

everytime i see a thread like this, i have to think, does this person really know what the heck they are talking about...
