I just had a guy wave a gun from inside his car at me because I was mad that HE cut ME off in a merging lane where I had the right of way.

I've heard of people throwing bricks from overpasses onto oncoming traffic. I kinda worry about that when driving on the freeways.
I drive on I-10 everyday for work. There are overpasses by 45 south. There has been accounts of throwing big rocks and shooting at cars before. Yikes. Anyway, who drives around with a brick? I think it was someone that was pissed at her or a gang initiation.
He's trying to send you a message that he CAN cut you off because he has a gun inside his car. What you should have done was write down his license plate number and call it in to the cops immediately on your cell phone. We can't have people driving around waving guns at people and thinking they can road rage because they have a gun. That's non-sense. My question to you is...why didn't you call it in? This guy might end up shooting someone else in another scenario.
In all honesty I SHOULD have written down his plate but I wasn't thinking straight and other things were happening at the same time. My police officer friend told me I should have so he can run that plate.
I don't know about her case, but I've had a brick thrown at my passenger side door by some random kid while I was stopped at a red light. He took off running and was laughing his butt off. I've also had my back window broken out where I had a NY Yankees decal. Nothing was stolen from the car or anything, so I have to assume it was the decal.
those could be patrolled but the city uses it's cops for more important things like undercover stings on strip clubs and massage parlors. you know, getting the true crime out of the city. while being premeditated isn't necessarily an excuse (although, let's be honest...it puts all of our minds at ease when we hear that), if it wasn't, the victim and family should have the right to do whatever they want to these criminals. this stuff disgusts me. (moreso if it wasnt premeditated though )
The same ppl that did this threw a hard boiled egg at my friends H3....it went through her windshield. It was at the same road and day.
Yesterday after work, I saw a little car cutting off a truck. The guy in the truck apparently got pissed so he went to other lane then sped up to cut him off. It was right next lane. It's so worthless to get into road rage. Let it go and move on. Sometimes, if I'm having a bad day and I would get pissed if someone cuts me off but that is it. It's soo not worth it dying!
Some guy threw a 20 lb chunk of concrete off the Dunlavy bridge back in 89 and killed the woman. www.chron.com/CDA/archives/archive.mpl?id=1989_607943
I used to egg cars driving through my neighbors street back in high school, but throwing bricks at cars is crazy.
We used to throw wet toilet paper at cars from my backyard when I was younger. Of course, that was months ago and I don't do it anymore.
