I can tell you it's not Mexican Independence...That's Sept. 16th... I think it's the battle of Puebla...So, in other words, another holiday "the man" has generated to sell more beer and margaritas...
http://www.vivacincodemayo.org/history.htm blah, blah, blah.... just drink some beer and don't worry about it.
Wow I forgot. I'm Mexican....and right now I'm wearing my US soccer jersey. I think I should change, haha.
I dont want to say what I really think of Cinco De Mayo, cause then i'd get my ass kicked off clutchfans just like how the Mexicans kicked the French's ass.
I went to Taco Cabana today. I REALLY wanted their tortillas. I would have gotten a margarita too, but there's a zero tolerance policy at work....
I dont know why the people in the US celebrates this a lot, here, its like an ordinary day, well some schools dont have classes, but others do, and people work too, and why do celebrate this day, only because we win one battle, but we lost the war, like celebrating because the rockets win a playoffs game, but not the playoffs series.
Sorry I missed this, guys. Everyone knows this "holiday" is only more famous in the U.S. and A. and that it's NOT Mexico's independence. Also, in the Battle of Puebla, the one for which this day is celebrated, we beat the French. I mean, the FRIKKIN' FRENCH. We shouldn't even celebrate. Those asswipes get beat even by my grandma. Celebrating you beat the FRENCHies is like having a Richmond Avenue parade after we beat the Miami Heat during the regular season. I mean, WTF. I am slacking off, guys ... I have had no time for the Clutcho Fansos... and I am depressed from something that happened last Friday/Saturday... Thanks for remembering me, ima_drummer2k. Here is my contribution:
I find it funny that a lot of people that celebrate Cinco De Mayo are some of the most racist people on earth. They'll declare they're hate for Mexicans over flooding the USA and then gather with all their buddies and "celebrate" Cinco De Mayo.
