    then stu scott said kobe was "short" on his shots in the 4th b/c he was most likely "tired." (kobe was 2-8 in the 2nd half, 1-6 in the 4th)

    but he did knock down his fts though.

    If you take away the 3-4 fouls the Jazz committed to try to get the ball back in the last 2 minutes, then the Lakers were called as much as the Jazz during the rest of the game.

    Oh and as I watching the last two minutes they showed Kobe curling around Brewer at the top of the key and getting past him, Brewer reached out, leaned forward and pushed Kobe from behind right about in the kidney. Probably just inadvertent contact, the kind of stuff Kobe does all the time.....
    (sarcasm :rolleyes: )

    I'm telling you Jazz lovers - go back and watch a quarter in slo-mo you will find elbows thrown sideways, elbows and forearms in people's backs, Dwill grabbing and pulling a forearm, Korver barreling into Tmac's ribs while in the air on an inbound pass.

    It is going to be fun now to go back and slo-mo this game.

    Thanks you Lakers!! Just do it 3 more times.

    I can't believe I'm rooting for the Lakers, but I hate the Jazz more. Go for the sweep!

    I just read Kenny Smith's breakdown of the series and he actually think the Lakers bench is better (Vujacic Famar, and Walton) > than (Harpring, Millsap, and Korver).

    Is everyone sure I am on the right planet?

    Sure but imagine any player other than Wade, Lebron, Ginnobli or Kobe getting 23 Ft attempts in a playoff game?

    scoring wise, definitely.

    vujacic is just straight up on fire after the ASB. dude would kill on our team. farmar is a very confident player and good defender. i don't know about walton though. i would replace walton with shrek (that french dude)

    tmac did get 18 in game 6. i'm sure the refs have finally come to realization about utah's handchecking.

    too bad they caught it too late. if tmac got the calls he did in game 6, he would avg 15-16 fts in the series. even with his 60% ft avg, he would avg 31-32 ppg.

    i'm not surprised kobe got 23 fts. i was just pissed why did tmac get the calls so late in the series.

    utah led the league in fouls for a reason.

    All rockets fans should vote Tmac for the ASG next year in order to get superstar calls.

    Turiaf/Bynum > Millsap
    Vujacic = Korver
    Walton = Harpring
    Farmar = CJ Miles

    The Lakers bench with Turiaf and Bynum are bigger and stronger. The Jazz only has a bunch of midgets off the bench. Utah's 2nd string PF/C don't compare.

    Kyle Korver - 10.4 ppg shooting above 90% in FTs, is a dead eye 3 point shooter.

    http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/players/3754/career;_ylt=AqFUvH08lkEY0BdA2QnmvBekvLYF/

    Matt Harpring is a bull, very tough player, good mid range shooter, very aggressive on the boards, defense, and pretty decent passer.....Luke has a good shot, passer, and lets say I can't see him stopping any player in their tracks. Also, Luke's career scoring average is a mere 5.8.

    Bynum is injured, very unlikely to play, so would give Utah the advatange.

    Just something not to forget about the bench but Trevor Ariza is schedule to be back during the series and he brings a defensive minded swingman to the court, he can guard the other teams best player and give Kobe rest.

    Fisher is seriously the secret weapon here. He knows all of Sloan's sets and William's tendencies. On top of that, he is smart, dedicated, and make clutch shots.

    Utah-Rockets averaged 43 fouls called per game.
    Utah-Lakers was 60 fouls called.

    So much for the theory the refs get bored with calling fouls.

    Go Lakers!!!

    Not to make light of Fisher's situation with his daughter, but how funny would it be if he was only using that because he couldn't stand playing in Utah for Sloan, and now he helps the Lakers defeat them.

    I've always liked Fishers game, when he wasn't playing us of course. My pure hatred for the Jazz has turned me into a freakin Lakers fan.

    Because the Rockets do not have any other players that can consistently score. When Rafer was hitting, the doubles on TMac went away.

    Luke is a better passer, marginally better rebounder. Harpring's defense against the Lakers was decent, but his defense against himself was even better. If he keeps defending himself so well, he will be the Laker's 6th man of the series, better than Luke.

    Farmar is better than CJ Miles.

    Vujacic and Korver are both dead eye shooters, who help their teams spread the floor.

    Turiaf is bigger and stronger than Millsap.

    Bynum is injured and Sloan treats Jarron Collins like he's injured. :)
    Even.

    I am with Kenny Smith on this one.

    I said in another thread that Kobe is gonna have 20+ free throws.

    Fact of the matter is the refs are gonna give the Lakers all the calls. I have no problem cause we got away with some stuff as the Jazz did, but against LA the Jazz won't get away with ANYTHING. On top of that LA is free to do as they please.
