great show last night in Austin. Weather couldnt have been better. The racanteurs sounded great. Hope RM95 and SWT made it home alright. SWT-- last time I saw you one of your friends was ushering you through the crowd and it looked like a security guy was trying to catch up with you. I had a fresh drink in my hand and kinda stepped in front of him to slow him down and buy you a few seconds if your friend was trying to keep you away from him.
I thought this was one of the best concerts I have seen in a long time. They were 20X better than two years ago. They didn't play so many songs Friday night. Did they enbd up playing these Saturday? Didn't play: Hands Rich Kid Blues Stones Will Shout Intimate Secretary
some lady flipped out on me for accidentally bumping into her husband/boyfriend and called security to kick me out. i pretty much flipped my lid when they asked me to leave because they just straight up took this lady's word for the truth and didn't even ask or verify with anybody (including myself) if they thought i had done anything worth be kicked out. so granted, when the guard tried to grab i pushed him and that was that. didn't help that i tried to sneak back in about 10 mins. later, which is probably when you saw me.... thanks for the attempted block really nice meeting the both of yall... i apologize if i was slightly intoxicated, we started drinking ritas around 4 and never really let up.
In a dead musical climate, the Raconteurs and the White Stripes are some of the only music around worth listening to, of bands that have any noteriety. I can't imagine I would ever want to "do" Jack White just because I love his music. Maybe if I he dressed up like a chick, I would let him give me head, but that's about it....
Glad you made if home ok. We had been sipping patron on myfriends back deck before the show so teqila was the only choice when I went to get the shots. Hope the cheap tequila didn't send you over the edge. I was just glad I wasn't driving.
Were you sipping? Maybe i was doing it wrong. Show was great. Good to meet... well... whichever two of ya we met. I was a bit preoccupied keeping my better half on her feet... until I got separated from you guys and 6'3" Lone Star. Probably a good thing I did, since it only afforded me one more opportunity for a tasty beverage, and I eventually had to drive. So THIS is clutchcity life outside the GARM, huh? Much cooler... but where are all the Trade McGrady threads?!
Alright Melissa was sipping, I was shooting them just like you (and your better half). I just heard from RM95 who is currently on a Clutch imposed Clutchfans break and said if he ever gets back in he wants his moniker to be "6'3" Lone Star"
just saw the raconteurs at lollapalooza in chicago. amazing performance and an incredible album. "carolina drama" and "many shades of black" do it for me every time. not to mention "level" from their first album. <object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/bqFb6VXW86Y&hl=en&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/bqFb6VXW86Y&hl=en&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>
