Hi y'all, After friday's loss, I rethought about what the commentator (not sure who) said about the game. If you guys didn't hear, he said that 1 (T-mac) can't beat 5 (Jazz players). By the time he said that, 5 Jazz players were in double-digits, while T-mac had 38 points. Utah finished with 7 players in double-digits. Just look at the Pistons, they got 5 players averaging 10+ points and they are one of the best teams in this league. So my point is, maybe the Rockets should rely less on T-mac/Yao. I know some of you will say that it's gonna be a waste of superstars but in some games, some other people just have to stand up. I know that we have to find a valuable substitue for T-mac but, the most important for me, is to find someone who play on the floor with T-Mac/Yao. So it doesn't matter that T-mac/Yao got less PPG when they got off-nights. So after all, 1 really can't beat 5.
In the middle of the season it looked like a lot of our players (including Rafer) were starting to play there best ball with TMac out of the line up. Even TMac mentioned this. Is it out of the realm of possibility that the players just play better when they are not relying on TMac to run the offense?
Who told you that? We lost cause he didn't score 82 point, grab 20+ rebounds, dish out 20+ assist. Oh, don't forget that he couldn't even lock down freaking Okur. Now let's find that guy and replace Tmac with him.
