The Suns won the Barkely trade, lat year they past the first round and we didnt, so the suns won in that trade!

Why people always blame on Tmac! Its Tmac fault that the Celtics have to play a game 7 ;)

The reason that the Magic advanced is called: Dwight Howard, and the fact that they are on the Eastern Conference.

if the rockets were on the eastern they would advance to the 2nd round too.

The trade was a terrible one for Orlando. The cap space that they got from the deal would have been there anyway if Tracy ended up walking during his opt out year. Besides, look what did they ended up doing with all their cap space. They signed Rashard Lewis to the most overpaid deal in recent memory.

If they didn't do the trade, they would have had a core of:

    Dwight
    Tracy
    Hedo
    Jameer

Which is a group that's definitely capable of making some noise in the East.

Hell, the Rockets would probably meet the Spurs or whoever in the Finals if they were in the east

making the second round in the east is maybe equivalent to making the playoffs in the west.

My point exactly. Warriors would have been the 4th even the Blazers would be the 6th seed out East.

We won that trade no question.

If T-Mac were still in the East no question he would have that monkey off his back, and very well might be able to play for a championship.

T-Mac is closer to getting a ring than the Magic. Looks like they will get swept by Detroit.
